وثائقي يعرض شهادة «أبورواش» في محاولة اغتيال عادل إمام

The documentary channel announced the airing of the second part of the documentary film "The Leader... The Journey of Adel Imam," at exactly ten o'clock next Wednesday evening.

The second part of the film documents new details for the first time about the assassination attempt on Adel Imam in 1997, by a terrorist organization known at that time as "Abu Rawash Organization." The film also includes, for the first time, an exclusive testimony from one of the accused in that case, who was sentenced to ten years in prison.

This part also sheds light on the new millennium phase in Adel Imam's journey, and his role as a goodwill ambassador for refugee affairs, along with his visits to many Arab capitals, in addition to presenting several works during that era, which demonstrated his exceptional artistic abilities to continue for more than half a century, reigning over the throne of Egyptian and Arab art.

The documentary featured several prominent stars of Egyptian art who participated in Adel Imam's journey, such as: Yousra, Lablaba, Es'ad Younis, Elham Shahin, Sawsan Badr, Sherine, along with a number of artists, directors, critics, and writers, including the writer and screenwriter Bashir Al-Dik, in his last television appearance before his passing.

The first part of the documentary was aired in conjunction with the celebration of the leader's birthday recently.
