توفيت الفنانة السعودية المعتزلة سارة الغامدي، صباح الجمعة الماضي، ورحلت في هدوء بعيدا عن أضواء الإعلام عن عمر يناهز 49 عامًا، بعدما كانت قد اعتزلت منذ فترة طويلة. وتوفيت في مدينة جدة، بعد صراع مع مرض عضال استمر نحو عام.
وكانت الغامدي قد خضعت في وقت سابق للعلاج من ورم خبيث، وتماثلت للشفاء وغادرت المستشفى، قبل أن تعاودها المضاعفات بشكل مفاجئ أخيرا، وتدخل على إثرها في مرحلة حرجة انتهت بوفاتها.
ونعتها الإعلامية سهى الوعل، بقولها عن عمر 49، رحلت الإنسانة الحبيبة والفنانة الجميلة سارة الغامدي بعد عام من المعاناة مع ورم خبيث في الوجه.. رغم أنها كانت قد تماثلت للشفاء وغادرت لكنها عادت بشكل مفاجئ ليتهاوى كل شيء سريعاً الأسبوع الماضي..
وأضافت «سارة بالنسبة لي ولعائلتي ليست مجرد شخص نعرفه، بل صديق طيب أصيل ونبيل يعلم الله لأي درجة أنا حزينة وأنا أنقل لكم تفاصيل هذا الخبر»..
سارة الغامدي، واسمها الحقيقي نجاة الغامدي، وُلدت في 25 نوفمبر 1975 بمدينة جدة، وبدأت مشوارها الفني عام 1996.
The Saudi artist who retired, Sarah Al-Ghamdi, passed away last Friday morning, leaving quietly away from the media spotlight at the age of 49, after having retired a long time ago. She died in the city of Jeddah after a battle with a serious illness that lasted about a year.
Al-Ghamdi had previously undergone treatment for a malignant tumor, and she had recovered and left the hospital, only to experience sudden complications that led her into a critical phase, which ultimately resulted in her death.
Media personality Suha Al-Wael mourned her, saying, "At the age of 49, the beloved person and beautiful artist Sarah Al-Ghamdi has departed after a year of suffering from a malignant tumor in her face... even though she had recovered and left, she suddenly returned, causing everything to collapse quickly last week."
She added, "For me and my family, Sarah is not just someone we know, but a kind, genuine, and noble friend. God knows how sad I am as I convey the details of this news."
Sarah Al-Ghamdi, whose real name is Najat Al-Ghamdi, was born on November 25, 1975, in the city of Jeddah, and she began her artistic career in 1996.
