أكدت الفنانة السعودية أسيل عمران بأن السعادة لا ترتبط بالزواج، فثمة نساء كثيرات يعشن زيجات تفتقر للدعم الحقيقي، ويتحمّلن تربية الأبناء وحدهن.
وقالت خلال ظهورها عبر برنامج «كلام نواعم» على شاشة MBC1، «الزواج لا يضمن الاستقرار دائماً، ومن حق كل امرأة أن تختلف في رؤيتها لهذا الموضوع، دون أن تُحاسَب أو تُوصَف بأنها ناقصة».
وأضافت أنا لست ضد مفهومي الزواج والإنجاب، لكنني أؤمن بحق المرأة في اتخاذ قراراتها المصيرية بنفسها، ولم أرفض يوماً الزواج أو إنجاب الأطفال، لكنني أرفض فرض هذه الخيارات كأنها واجب اجتماعي على كل امرأة. يجب أن نُمنح الوقت لنحدد ما يناسبنا.
وعن علاقتها بالشهرة، وصفت أسيل عمران التجربة بأنها مركّبة، مشيرة إلى أن الخوف يرافق الفنان منذ لحظة دخوله دائرة الضوء، وقالت: «طالما ظل الفنان في الواجهة، يظل الخوف حاضراً. لكنه يتحوّل بمرور الوقت إلى وعي ونضج، فلا أحد يمكنه العيش في حالة قلق دائم». وأكدت أن التعامل العقلاني مع الشهرة هو ما يحمي الفنان من الاستنزاف النفسي.
أسيل أوضحت أن دخولها إلى الساحة الفنية لم يكن بدافع الشهرة أو الظهور، بل نتيجة شغف عميق بالفن منذ الطفولة. مكملة: «نشأت في بيت محب للفن، كنت أتابع الأفلام القديمة بالأبيض والأسود، وأتخيل نفسي أؤدي أدوار البطولة على المسرح. الفن كان الحلم الأصيل، وليس الأضواء».

During her appearance on the program "Kalam Nawaem" on MBC1, she said, "Marriage does not always guarantee stability, and every woman has the right to have a different perspective on this issue, without being judged or labeled as incomplete."
She added, "I am not against the concepts of marriage and childbirth, but I believe in a woman's right to make her own life decisions. I have never rejected marriage or having children, but I refuse to impose these choices as a social obligation on every woman. We should be given the time to determine what suits us."
Regarding her relationship with fame, Asil Omran described the experience as complex, noting that fear accompanies an artist from the moment they enter the spotlight. She said, "As long as the artist remains in the limelight, fear is present. However, over time, it transforms into awareness and maturity, as no one can live in a constant state of anxiety." She emphasized that a rational approach to fame is what protects the artist from psychological exhaustion.
Asil clarified that her entry into the artistic scene was not driven by the desire for fame or visibility, but rather due to a deep passion for art since childhood. She continued, "I grew up in a home that loved art, I used to watch old black-and-white films and imagine myself playing leading roles on stage. Art was the genuine dream, not the spotlight."
