تقدمت الفنانة ملاك الكويتية ببلاغ رسمي في مخفر سلوى اتهمت من خلاله النائب السابق أحمد الشحومي بالتحريض على الفسق والفجور، على خلفية تصريحاته (العلنية والمهينة) التي أطلقها في أحد البرامج الحوارية، وكرّرها عبر حسابه الرسمي في وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي.
واتهمت الفنانة الكويتية الشحومي باستخدام صفته العامة السابقة للتأثير على الرأي العام، ومحاولة النيل من سمعتها أمام جمهورها، وطالبت الجهات المختصة بفتح تحقيق عاجل في الواقعة، واتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية بحقه.
وتناول الشحومي في حلقة حوارية «بعض السلوكيات في الوسط الفني» ووصفها بأنها «لا تمثل المجتمع الكويتي»، دون أن يسمي أحدًا، إلا أن متابعين لاحظوا مطابقة بعض العبارات التي استخدمها مع ما تنشره الفنانة ملاك على حساباتها الشخصية، وهو ما دفعها لتقديم البلاغ.
The artist Malak Al-Kuwaiti filed an official complaint at the Salwa police station, accusing former MP Ahmed Al-Shahoumi of inciting immorality and debauchery, following his (public and insulting) statements made during a talk show, which he repeated on his official social media account.
The Kuwaiti artist accused Al-Shahoumi of using his former public position to influence public opinion and attempt to tarnish her reputation in front of her audience. She called on the relevant authorities to open an urgent investigation into the incident and take legal action against him.
During a talk show episode, Al-Shahoumi discussed "some behaviors in the artistic community" and described them as "not representative of Kuwaiti society," without naming anyone. However, followers noticed that some of the phrases he used matched what the artist Malak posts on her personal accounts, which prompted her to file the complaint.
