على امتداد أكثر من 250 عملًا، ظل محمد عبده، وبدر بن عبدالمحسن، وجهين لصوتٍ واحد، تتقاطع فيه القصيدة مع النغمة، ويتقدّم فيه النص بخطى المغني نفسه. لم تكن العلاقة بينهما تنتهي عند توقيع القصيدة، بل تبدأ معه رحلة مشتركة من إعادة التشكيل حتى تستوي الأغنية على ذائقة البدر، ونَفَس محمد عبده، لكن القدر هذه المرة كسر هذا الطقس.
فنان العرب محمد عبده، يستعد لطرح ألبوم جديد بعنوان «الوفاء للبدر»، يضم خمس أغنيات من كلمات الأمير الراحل بدر بن عبدالمحسن، وألحان الموسيقار طلال، في تحية وفاءٍ أخيرة لشاعرٍ كان شريك الحرف والصوت واللحظة.
الألبوم يحوي قصائد كتبها البدر قبل وفاته، لكنها تُطرح للمرة الأولى بعد أن لحّنها الموسيقار طلال، ليحمل عبده صوته إلى غياب الشاعر، في تجربة تُعد الأولى من نوعها؛ أن يغني دون أن يسمع البدر، دون أن يُراجع، دون أن يبتسم.
الأغنيات: «أحد سأل عني»، «قالت قصيدك ليل»، «يا صاحبي طالت»، «لليل حارس»، و«الشفق»، ليست مجرد أعمال جديدة، بل ختام شراكة طويلة، وبدء فصل من الغياب... لا يسمع، لكن يُخلَّد.
الموسيقار طلال؛ الذي قدّم مع بدر بن عبدالمحسن، عدداً من أبرز أعماله في السنوات الأخيرة، أمسك بزمام المبادرة في هذا الألبوم، وشاركه محمد عبده، في تكريم الشاعر الراحل بهذا العمل النوعي. حضور طلال هنا ليس لحنياً فقط، بل موقف وفاء، لرجلٍ أسّس لذائقة استثنائية، وشكّل ركيزة محورية في تاريخ الأغنية السعودية.

Throughout more than 250 works, Mohammed Abdu and Badr bin Abdul Mohsen remained two faces of a single voice, where poetry intersects with melody, and the text advances in the footsteps of the singer himself. Their relationship did not end with the signing of the poem; rather, it began a shared journey of reformation until the song is shaped to fit Badr's taste and Mohammed Abdu's breath, but fate this time broke this ritual.
Arab artist Mohammed Abdu is preparing to release a new album titled "Loyalty to Badr," which includes five songs with lyrics by the late Prince Badr bin Abdul Mohsen and music composed by musician Talal, as a final tribute to a poet who was a partner in word, voice, and moment.
The album contains poems written by Badr before his death, but they are being released for the first time after being composed by musician Talal, allowing Abdu to carry his voice to the absence of the poet, in a unique experience; singing without Badr hearing, without reviewing, without smiling.
The songs: "Someone Asked About Me," "Your Poem Said Night," "Oh My Friend, It's Been Long," "For the Night, a Guardian," and "Twilight," are not just new works, but the conclusion of a long partnership, and the beginning of a chapter of absence... not heard, but immortalized.
Musician Talal, who presented some of his most notable works with Badr bin Abdul Mohsen in recent years, took the initiative in this album, and shared with Mohammed Abdu in honoring the late poet with this quality work. Talal's presence here is not only melodic but also a stance of loyalty to a man who established an exceptional taste and formed a pivotal cornerstone in the history of Saudi song.
