تشهد النسخة الثانية من بينالي الفنون الإسلامية إقامة حفلين موسيقيين من أداء كورال روح الشرق، وذلك يومي الخميس والجمعة القادمين، ضمن فعاليات الأسبوع الختامي للبينالي، الذي تنظمه مؤسسة بينالي الدرعية في صالة الحجاج الغربية بمطار الملك عبدالعزيز الدولي في جدة، تحت عنوان «وما بينهما».
وستمتد فعاليات الأسبوع الختامي لمدة أربعة أيام، وستتضمن عروضاً موسيقية، وأنشطة ثقافية، وتجارب طعام فريدة، ومنتدى ختامياً سيمتد لثلاثة أيام سيشمل جلسات حوارية وورش عمل تفاعلية.
وسيخصص المنتدى الختامي كل يوم لاستكشاف أبعاد مختلفة للفنون والثقافات الإسلامية، إذ سيسلط الضوء في اليوم الأول، الذي سيحمل عنوان «المتجذر في المكان»، على مشاريع محلية مرتبطة بالتراث الثقافي الإسلامي في جميع أنحاء المملكة العربية السعودية، مع التركيز على السرديات الثقافية والتكامل مع التعليم المدرسي والجامعي. أما اليوم الثاني، بعنوان «إعادة تقييم الأطر»، فيركز على دور المعارض والبرامج الثقافية في خلق بيئة تعليمية تفاعلية، مع استكشاف قدرة المساحات المادية والبرامج الثقافية على تشكيل تجارب تعليمية فريدة. أما اليوم الأخير فسيضم ندوة بعنوان «إمكانيات المستقبل»، وسيتطلع من خلالها إلى الآفاق الرقمية والتأثير الأوسع للبيناليات، كما سيتضمن جلسات حوارية متخصصة حول استخدام التكنولوجيا من أجل تعزيز فهمنا للفنون الإسلامية وتطوير نماذج بحثية ومجتمعية يمكنها إحداث تأثير ثقافي مستدام يتجاوز مدة إقامة المعرض. وستكون كافة الجلسات الحوارية مفتوحة لعامة الجمهور، بينما ستكون الجلسات الحوارية المصغرة مفتوحة للخبراء والمختصين المشاركين.
The second edition of the Islamic Arts Biennale will witness two musical performances by the Eastern Spirit Choir, taking place on the upcoming Thursday and Friday, as part of the closing week activities of the biennale, organized by the Diriyah Biennale Foundation at the Western Hajj Terminal of King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, under the title "And Between Them."
The closing week activities will extend for four days and will include musical performances, cultural activities, unique food experiences, and a three-day closing forum that will feature discussion sessions and interactive workshops.
Each day of the closing forum will be dedicated to exploring different dimensions of Islamic arts and cultures. The first day, titled "Rooted in Place," will focus on local projects related to Islamic cultural heritage across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, emphasizing cultural narratives and integration with school and university education. The second day, titled "Reassessing Frameworks," will focus on the role of exhibitions and cultural programs in creating an interactive educational environment, exploring the potential of physical spaces and cultural programs to shape unique educational experiences. The final day will feature a seminar titled "Possibilities of the Future," which will look into digital horizons and the broader impact of biennials, including specialized discussion sessions on the use of technology to enhance our understanding of Islamic arts and develop research and community models that can create a sustainable cultural impact beyond the duration of the exhibition. All discussion sessions will be open to the general public, while the mini discussion sessions will be open to participating experts and specialists.
