برهنت بلادنا للعالم أنها سيدة الكلمة وصاحبة المشورة، وأثبتت الدبلوماسية السعودية كلمتها أمام تحديات الإقليم، فأدرك العالم قوة ومتانة الكلمة السعودية، وبات ينظر إليها أنها الصخرة التي لا يمكن اجتيازها إلا بمشورتها. فعندما مرَّت المنطقة بأزمات عنيفة وحروب صنعتها أيدي العدو، بقيت بلادنا الحصن المنيع أمام كل التحديات.
في هذه العجالة، أستعرض بعضاً من الشواهد على الدور السعودي في المنطقة:
أولاً: بعد زوال كابوس الخطر عن الأشقاء في سورية، عقب خلع الطاغية بشار، ظهر فارس الأمتين العربية والإسلامية ولي العهد السعودي الأمير محمد بن سلمان طالباً من الولايات المتحدة إلغاء العقوبات ليُرَد عليه بالموافقة، فارتفعت أصوات السوريين عالياً بأن يحفظ الله المملكة التي أعانت الشعب السوري ليستعيد أنفاسه ويبدأ بالبناء وإعادة إعمار بلاده.
ثانياً: حين ظهرت في الأفق البعيد بوادر حرب كادت أن تقع، ظهر الأمير محمد بن سلمان منهياً خلاف دولتين جارتين نوويتين، فأزال خطراً كاد أن يكون سبباً في كارثة عالمية.
ثالثاً: أثناء حرب غزة جاءت الاتصالات المستمرة للأمير محمد بن سلمان بقادة الدول العظمى المؤثرة لوقف إطلاق النار على رؤوس أهالي غزة.
رابعاً: في الحرب الحالية الدائرة بين أمريكا وإسرائيل من جهة وإيران من جهة أخرى؛ وجهت إيران صواريخها ومسيراتها إلى السعودية والدول الخليجية لإقحامها في الحرب؛ فكان لصمام الأمان والمخطط الاستراتيجي الأمير محمد بن سلمان دور في عدم المجازفة بالرد على إيران، إذ أجرى اتصالات بأشقائه قادة دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي يطالبهم بضبط النفس، والحكمة، وعدم منح الأعداء مرادهم رغم ما أصاب بعض الدول الخليجية من أضرار بالغة، وبذلك فشل المخطط الذي أرادوا جرها في هذه الحرب.
خامساً: تأكيد الأمير محمد بن سلمان لدول مجلس التعاون الشقيقة أن المملكة تضع كل إمكانياتها؛ كان له الأثر في طمأنة دول المنطقة من وقوف المملكة مع كل قضاياها العادلة.
سادساً: إسرائيل التي استنفدت وساطاتها لدى العالم رغبة في تطبيع العلاقات مع السعودية؛ جاء رد فارس المنطقة وقائدها المحنك الأمير محمد بن سلمان بقوله: «لا تطبيع ولا علاقات مع إسرائيل ما لم تعترف بحقوق الشعب الفلسطيني في دولته وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية»، فأصبحت بلادنا سابقاً وحالياً ومستقبلاً الدولة الحاضنة للقضية الفلسطينية.

Our country has proven to the world that it is the master of words and the owner of counsel, and Saudi diplomacy has asserted its stance in the face of regional challenges. The world has recognized the strength and resilience of the Saudi word, viewing it as the rock that cannot be crossed without its counsel. When the region faced violent crises and wars instigated by the enemy, our country remained the stronghold against all challenges.
In this brief overview, I present some evidence of the Saudi role in the region:
First: After the nightmare of danger was lifted from our brothers in Syria, following the ousting of the tyrant Bashar, the knight of the Arab and Islamic nations, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, appeared asking the United States to lift the sanctions, to which he received a positive response. The voices of the Syrians rose high, thanking God for the Kingdom that helped the Syrian people regain their breath and begin the process of rebuilding their country.
Second: When signs of a distant war were about to erupt, Prince Mohammed bin Salman emerged, resolving a dispute between two neighboring nuclear states, thus removing a danger that could have led to a global catastrophe.
Third: During the Gaza war, continuous communications from Prince Mohammed bin Salman with the leaders of major influential countries were made to stop the bombardment on the heads of the people of Gaza.
Fourth: In the current war between America and Israel on one side and Iran on the other; Iran directed its missiles and drones towards Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states to drag them into the war. The safety valve and strategic planner, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, played a role in avoiding retaliation against Iran, as he communicated with his brothers, the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, urging them to exercise restraint, wisdom, and not to grant the enemies their desires despite the severe damage some Gulf states suffered. Thus, the plan to drag them into this war failed.
Fifth: Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s assurance to the brotherly Gulf Cooperation Council countries that the Kingdom is putting all its capabilities at their disposal had a reassuring effect on the countries of the region regarding the Kingdom's support for all their just causes.
Sixth: Israel, which has exhausted its mediations with the world in hopes of normalizing relations with Saudi Arabia; the response from the knight of the region and its astute leader, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, was: “No normalization or relations with Israel unless it recognizes the rights of the Palestinian people in their state with East Jerusalem as its capital.” Thus, our country has become, now and in the future, the state that embraces the Palestinian cause.
