If we wanted to recount the positions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in support of the Palestinian cause and standing with the Palestinian people, we would need a little effort and a lot of volumes. I say "if we wanted" because it is obvious that the Kingdom's efforts since the era of the founder, King Abdulaziz - may God rest his soul - until the present time under King Salman and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, throughout this extended period from the founding era to our present, the Kingdom's position has been clear and steadfast, not changing or shifting towards soft stances, like those countries that open their arms to the embassies of the Zionist entity and then threaten to close them in a feeble competition to claim they have taken a stance!
To answer the question: Why do they stubbornly deny the historical role of the Kingdom towards the Palestinian cause? Here the obvious question arises: Who are they? And why the denial when they can access the truth and the Kingdom's position in detail, since its unification? Accessing information has become easy and available to everyone now, and they can search for information from neutral sources or even from enemies. The truth is that they are not seeking information or truth; they are driven not by love for the Palestinian cause, but by hatred for Saudi Arabia and everything Saudi. They are nothing more than "dealers," as we say in our colloquial dialect; they fundamentally have no cause, but they work "for a pittance" for the merchants of causes who sell anything. If you trace their (struggle!) history, you would find them like chimpanzees jumping from the far right to the far left without the slightest shame, yet they talk about positions, values, and principles. They are a minority who are rejected even by their own kin, and they found their solace specifically in "social media," for many reasons, including that these platforms do not require accuracy of information. Thus, they adopt the saying of Joseph Goebbels, Hitler's Minister of Propaganda, who said: "Lie, lie until people believe you." They exploit "social media" to drown in misleading information, compensating for their small numbers through fake names for the same individuals to imply that they can create or adopt an opinion, and they evade objective discussion, resorting instead to vulgar insults that a noble Arab man would disdain. All of this is due to their certainty that their lie, which they keep repeating, has not stood up to serious questioning, not to mention the figures they know very well. On the other hand, Saudi Arabia has never boasted about what it has done for the Palestinian cause, knowing that it has the right to boast about being the one that has provided to the first of the two qiblas what no one else has ever provided. However, it has never sought media victory or political competition; it has acted according to what its religion, Arabism, and the stances of its great men dictate.
In any case, if these individuals spent the time they waste insulting Saudi Arabia and trying to belittle its role, and dedicated all this wasted time to defending the Palestinian cause, perhaps – I say perhaps because I do not bet on their awareness – they could have drawn the world's attention to what they claim is their primary cause. It would be better for them than practicing this provocative foolishness by insulting Saudi Arabia – the most important supporter of the Palestinian cause – under the pretext that they are doing this for the cause! In the end, Saudi Arabia will remain the fortress that all Arabs and Muslims take refuge in, and those barking voices will die out and be rejected by history.
