I was born in Mecca, the Holy City

and I lived its details in years when the image was different

and the possibilities were simpler

and the Holy Mosque retained its features known to the children of that generation

before the great development journey began

A journey that was not born today

but a national march that has extended since the reign of King Abdulaziz - may God have mercy on him -

when he took on the honor of serving the Two Holy Mosques as a responsibility and a trust

and made caring for those who visit the Sacred House of God a state policy and a leadership path

Years went by

and the kings of the Kingdom succeeded each other - may God have mercy on them - and each stage adds a brick

and each era opens a new horizon for development

until the Kingdom has become today

a leading global model in serving pilgrims and Umrah performers

based on a clear vision

continuous work

and a constant commitment that does not stop

And those who lived in Mecca decades ago

see the magnitude of the great transformation:

giant expansions

advanced infrastructure

modern technological systems

and a comprehensive service environment

that made the journey of the pilgrim and Umrah performer

easier and more reassuring

and more capable of accommodating the increasing numbers of the guests of the Most Merciful coming from various parts of the world

With millions of pilgrims and Umrah performers arriving annually from all corners of the earth

with multiple languages, cultures, and ethnicities

the image of integrated work is manifested:

a security, health, service, and organizational system working in remarkable harmony

and crowd management has become a model to be emulated, with multiple entities moving

in the spirit of one team

whose primary goal is to serve humanity

and ensure the comfort of the guests of the Most Merciful

and enable them to perform their worship

with security, ease, and reassurance

In this prosperous era under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King
