إصرار إيران على إنكار أنها تقف خلف هجمات الصواريخ والمسيّرات التي تستهدف دول الخليج يؤكد هواجس دول المنطقة من عدوانية النظام الإيراني واستخفافه بأسس بناء الثقة في علاقاته بجيرانه العرب!
هذه الصواريخ والمسيّرات لم تُرسل من عالم موازٍ آخر، ولم يطلقها أشباح، فبصمة الحرس الثوري على كل صاروخ ومسيّرة، سواء أطلقت على يد عناصره أو عناصر أذرعه وميليشياته الإقليمية، كما أن ادعاء استهداف القواعد الأمريكية بات حجة واهية، بينما الاستهداف يطال المطارات والموانئ والفنادق والأحياء السكنية!
كان اعتذار الرئيس الإيراني لدول الجوار اعترافاً صريحاً بمسؤولية نظام بلاده عن الاعتداءات التي طالت دول الخليج، بينما أكدت التهديدات التي أطلقها علي لاريجاني وجنرالات الحرس الثوري وقادة الميليشيات الولائية هذه المسؤولية، وإذا كانت حكومات الخليج تمارس ضبط النفس لعدم الانجرار إلى هذه الحرب، فإن استمرار الاعتداءات الإيرانية لا يساعد على استعادة بناء الثقة عندما تضع هذه الحرب أوزارها وتبرز حاجة النظام إلى الخروج من أزمته وكسر طوق عزلته الإقليمية والدولية!
اللافت أن النظام في طهران يبدو مهووساً بخلق العداوات في الوقت الذي هو في أمسّ الحاجة إلى تعزيز الصداقات التي تساعده على الخروج من هذه الحرب المدمرة، وهذا يدل على الافتقار إلى الحكمة والرؤية، ويثير المزيد من القلق حول نوايا هذا النظام وقدرته على التأقلم مع أمن واستقرار الإقليم!
باختصار.. لا يبدو النظام الإيراني قادراً على تقمص أي شخصية سوى الشخصية الشرسة المتنمرة المعتدية، وهذا ما يشكك بمستقبل العلاقة مع محيطه العربي، فهو أسير أفكار وأحلام أيديولوجية مدمرة تنبئ باستمرار سياسته العدوانية تجاه جيرانه!

These missiles and drones were not sent from another parallel world, nor were they launched by ghosts; the fingerprints of the Revolutionary Guard are on every missile and drone, whether launched by its elements or by the elements of its regional arms and militias. Furthermore, the claim of targeting American bases has become a flimsy excuse, while the actual targets include airports, ports, hotels, and residential neighborhoods!
The Iranian president's apology to neighboring countries was a clear acknowledgment of his country's regime's responsibility for the assaults on Gulf states, while the threats issued by Ali Larijani, Revolutionary Guard generals, and militia leaders confirmed this responsibility. If Gulf governments are exercising restraint to avoid being drawn into this war, the continued Iranian assaults do not help in rebuilding trust when this war eventually ends, highlighting the regime's need to escape its crisis and break its regional and international isolation!
It is striking that the regime in Tehran seems obsessed with creating enmities at a time when it is in dire need of strengthening friendships that could help it emerge from this devastating war. This indicates a lack of wisdom and vision, raising further concerns about the intentions of this regime and its ability to adapt to the security and stability of the region!
In short, the Iranian regime does not seem capable of adopting any persona other than that of the aggressive, bullying character, which casts doubt on the future of its relationship with its Arab surroundings. It is a prisoner of destructive ideological ideas and dreams that herald the continuation of its aggressive policy towards its neighbors!
