أرجو أن تتراجع وزارة التعليم عن إلزام الطلاب بارتداء الشماغ في المدارس، ويُكتفى بارتداء الثوب كرمز أصيل وكاف لهوية الزي الوطني، فتخفيف الأعباء المالية عن أولياء الأمور أمر ضروري، إذ إن تكاليف الشماغ تزداد يوماً بعد يوم !
برأيي، أن الثوب السعودي يكفي لإبراز الهوية الوطنية، ولا حاجة إلى الشماغ خاصة في الأجواء الحارة، فضلاً عما يسببه ارتداء «الطاقية» لفترات طويلة من تساقط للشعر وتهييج لفروة الرأس !
باختصار.. تعزيز الانتماء الوطني لدى النشء لا يصنعه شماغ أحمر أو غترة بيضاء، بل إحساس أخضر بالهوية والانتماء !

ما زلت أرى أن العاملين في المدارس الأهلية هم الحلقة الأضعف في قطاع التعليم، يعملون كثيراً ويتقاضون قليلاً !

تبقى البيئة المدرسية التحدي الأكبر أمام المؤسسة التعليمية لتكون جاذبة وفاعلة وآمنة، فقد نصبر على نقص الملاعب والمسارح والمختبرات، لكن لا يمكن الصبر على ضعف جاهزية وكفاءة ورقابة «السلامة» في المرافق التعليمية !

يتحمل أولياء الأمور مسؤولية أكبر في غياب الطلاب قبيل الإجازات، فتساهل بعض الطلاب والطالبات مع الغياب يجب أن يُعالَج بحزم من الوالدين. وإذا توافق الطلاب على الغياب لفرض الأمر الواقع، فيجب أن يتوافق أولياء الأمور على رفض حجج الغياب الواهية، لفرض واقع الالتزام بالدوام المدرسي !

I hope that the Ministry of Education will reconsider its requirement for students to wear the shemagh in schools, and that wearing the thobe alone will suffice as an authentic symbol of national dress identity. Reducing the financial burden on parents is essential, as the costs of the shemagh are increasing day by day!
In my opinion, the Saudi thobe is enough to highlight national identity, and there is no need for the shemagh, especially in hot weather. Moreover, wearing the "taqiyah" for long periods can lead to hair loss and irritation of the scalp!
In short, fostering national belonging among the youth is not created by a red shemagh or a white ghutrah, but rather by a deep sense of identity and belonging!

The school environment remains the biggest challenge for educational institutions to be attractive, effective, and safe. We can tolerate a lack of playgrounds, theaters, and laboratories, but we cannot tolerate the poor readiness, efficiency, and oversight of "safety" in educational facilities!

Parents bear a greater responsibility for students' absences before holidays. The leniency of some students regarding absenteeism must be addressed firmly by the parents. If students agree to be absent to impose the status quo, then parents must agree to reject flimsy excuses for absence to enforce the reality of school attendance!
