لن يكون ما بعد هذا الصدام الإيراني الإسرائيلي مثل ما قبله، فنحن أمام تحوّل ضخم تشهده المنطقة، بدأت فصوله منذ عملية 7 أكتوبر، وهو تحوّل متسارع شهد سقوط حزب الله ونظام الأسد خلال فترة زمنية قصيرة!
في خضم هذه الأحداث المتسارعة والصراعات المسلحة تبرز مواقف الدول وسياساتها في كيفية التعامل مع مسارات وتأثيرات ونتائج الأحداث، ونلاحظ أن الموقف السعودي كما جاء في بيانات وزارة الخارجية اتسم كالعادة بالحكمة وعمق الرؤية لمآلات الأحداث دون انجرار للعواطف أو الشعارات الشعبوية، وهي سمة المواقف السياسية السعودية التي وضعتها دائماً في مصاف دول الاعتدال مما مكنها من لعب دور الوسيط الحكيم، وجنَّبها التعرُّض لتأثيرات عواصف وشظايا الأحداث والصراعات، ومكّنها من حفظ أمنها واستقرارها وحماية مصالحها!
والمتأمل في مواقف السياسة السعودية يجد أن الوقوف مع الحق والعدالة ركيزة أساسية؛ لذلك وجدناها تُغلّب وتدعم الحوار في أزمات اليمن ولبنان وسورية وحرب أوكرانيا والصدام الهندي الباكستاني، كما دعت المملكة منذ اللحظة الأولى لارتفاع وتيرة الصدام الإيراني الإسرائيلي إلى التهدئة والتزام الحوار والحلول الدبلوماسية إدراكاً لمخاطر الصراعات المسلحة وتأثيراتها على استقرار المنطقة ومصالح دولها!
المملكة التي تؤمن بالسلام كعقيدة إنسانية لتحقيق الاستقرار والتنمية والحياة الكريمة، تدرك مخاطر الصراعات المسلحة، وهي تقع في قلب أكثر البقاع توتراً في العالم، وهي أيضاً شاهدة على كل الصراعات والحروب التي وقعت في المنطقة وما آلت إليه من كوارث ومعاناة للشعوب دون أن تُقدَّم أية حلول!
باختصار.. في ظل تلاطم أمواج الأحداث الجارية ومآلاتها المقلقة يشعر السعوديون بالطمأنينة؛ لأن أشرعة مركبهم: الحكمة والفطنة!

The aftermath of this Iranian-Israeli clash will not be like what came before it, as we are witnessing a massive transformation in the region, the chapters of which began with the events of October 7. This is a rapid transformation that has seen the fall of Hezbollah and the Assad regime in a short period of time!
Amid these fast-paced events and armed conflicts, the positions and policies of countries emerge regarding how to deal with the trajectories, impacts, and outcomes of these events. We notice that the Saudi position, as stated in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' statements, has been characterized, as usual, by wisdom and a deep understanding of the consequences of events without succumbing to emotions or populist slogans. This is a hallmark of Saudi political stances that have always placed it among the moderate countries, enabling it to play the role of a wise mediator, shielding it from the effects of the storms and shrapnel of events and conflicts, and allowing it to maintain its security, stability, and protect its interests!
Upon reflecting on Saudi political stances, one finds that standing with justice and fairness is a fundamental pillar; thus, we have seen it prioritize and support dialogue in the crises of Yemen, Lebanon, Syria, the Ukraine war, and the India-Pakistan clash. From the very first moment the Iranian-Israeli clashes escalated, the Kingdom called for de-escalation and adherence to dialogue and diplomatic solutions, recognizing the dangers of armed conflicts and their impacts on the stability of the region and the interests of its countries!
The Kingdom, which believes in peace as a human doctrine to achieve stability, development, and a dignified life, understands the dangers of armed conflicts, as it is situated in the heart of one of the most tense areas in the world. It has also witnessed all the conflicts and wars that have occurred in the region and the resulting disasters and suffering for the people, without any solutions being offered!
In short, amid the tumult of ongoing events and their troubling outcomes, the Saudis feel a sense of reassurance; for the sails of their ship are wisdom and insight!
