نعم، جاء زمن لم يكن لدينا فرقة موسيقية، تستطيع المراهنة على أدائها في المحافل الدولية، نعم كان لدينا فنانون رائعون، إلا أن الظرف الاجتماعي قلص من اندماجهم في المشاركة الجادة، ذلك التجمد الاجتماعي سحب اهتمام مبدعين كثر من مواصلة الإبداع الخاص بهم، ففضلوا الابتعاد عن (وجع الرأس) الذي يأتي من قبل بعض أفراد المجتمع لوماً وتحريماً لمن يشارك غناء أو موسيقى، هذا الموقف الاجتماعي أدى إلى ضياع كثير من المواهب، وتبقى القلة كمحافظين للإرث الغنائي مع الإسهام في تطويره.. ومع ظهور هيئة الثقافة واهتمامها بهذا الجانب، مكننا من إظهار تفاخرنا بوجود الأوركسترا والكورال الوطني السعودي من خلال فرقة موسيقية وطنية.
هذه الفرقة تجوب عواصم العالم وتحصد الإعجاب بما تقدم من إرثنا الغنائي والموسيقي والأدائي.
وقد دأب المسؤولون على اجتماع هيئتي الموسيقى والمسرح والفنون الأدائية على تقديم الإرث الحقيقي من تراثنا الغنائي جنباً إلى جنب.. ولكون الموسيقى إرث إنساني تخاطب الوجدان، وحضورها في أي مكان هو تأكيد على اللغة الموحدة بين شعوب العالم، تلك اللغة التي يستوعبها الإنسان في أي جهة كانت، فشاركت هذه الموسيقى السعودية في باريس، والمكسيك، ونيويورك، وآخر ظهور فاخر لهذه الهيئة الموسيقية ما حدث في مدينة (سدني) بأستراليا..
وحضورنا في أي مسرح غنائي ندمج بين فنانينا وفناني البلد المضيف لأداء ألحاننا المحلية، لذا شارك كبار الموسيقيين العالميين في عزف الفنون السعودية كالمجرور والخبيتي والسامري والمزمار، ودمج العازفين السعوديين مع عازفي البلد المستضيف لخلق تناغم موسيقي إنساني رائع.
هذا المجهود الموسيقي الكبير بحاجة إلى الإشادة لفنانينا المشاركين في كل محفل وإبراز طاقتهم من خلال إعلام يواكب ما يحدثه ويقدمه فنانونا الشباب من روائع فنية جدير بها أن تتصدر وسائل الإعلام المحلية على الأقل.. ومن الأمور التي يستوجب على الإعلام فعله تقديم أولئك الفنانين في برامج فنية كإشادة لما يتم تقديمه على المسارح العالمية.
وما تشاهده العين تعجز الكتابة عن تجسيد ما كان حادثاً على المسرح، عشرات الشباب والشابات في تناغم موسيقي آخاذ يسلب الدهشة والفرحة معا.

Yes, there came a time when we did not have a musical band that could be relied upon to perform at international forums. Yes, we had wonderful artists, but the social circumstances limited their serious participation. This social stagnation led many creators to lose interest in continuing their own creativity, as they preferred to distance themselves from the "headache" that comes from some members of society who blame and prohibit those who participate in singing or music. This social stance resulted in the loss of many talents, leaving only a few to preserve the musical heritage while contributing to its development. With the emergence of the Culture Authority and its interest in this aspect, we were able to showcase our pride in the existence of the Saudi National Orchestra and Choir through a national musical band.
This band tours the capitals of the world and garners admiration for what it presents from our musical and performance heritage.
Officials have consistently worked on the collaboration between the Music and Theater Authorities and the Performing Arts to present the true legacy of our musical heritage side by side. Since music is a human legacy that speaks to the soul, its presence anywhere confirms the unified language among the peoples of the world, a language that can be understood by humans regardless of their location. This Saudi music has participated in Paris, Mexico, New York, and the latest grand appearance of this musical authority was in the city of (Sydney) in Australia..
