سجّلت سوريا اليوم (السبت) ، هزة أرضية بلغت قوتها 3.8 درجات على مقياس ريختر قرب الحدود مع العراق.
وأوضح المركز الوطني للزلازل في وزارة الطوارئ وإدارة الكوارث السورية -وفقًا للوكالة العربية السورية للأنباء- أن الهزة سُجّلت عند الساعة 3:51 من عصر اليوم بالتوقيت المحلي لمدينة دمشق، مشيرًا إلى أن مركز الهزة وقع على الحدود السورية العراقية (شمال غرب الموصل)، وبلغ عمقها نحو 5 كيلومترات، وأن الهزة تُعد ضمن النشاط الطبيعي، حيث تقع على منظومة صدوع سنجار- عبد العزيز.
وفي الرابع من الشهر الجاري سجلت محطات الرصد الزلزالي في المركز الوطني للزلازل 5 هزات أرضية رئيسة، جميعها في جنوب تركيا، وشعر بها السكان في الشمال السوري.

Syria recorded today (Saturday) a tremor measuring 3.8 degrees on the Richter scale near the border with Iraq.
The National Earthquake Center in the Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management of Syria - according to the Syrian Arab News Agency - stated that the tremor was recorded at 3:51 PM local time in Damascus, noting that the epicenter of the tremor was on the Syrian-Iraqi border (northwest of Mosul), with a depth of about 5 kilometers, and that the tremor is considered part of natural activity, as it occurs on the Sinjar-Abdul Aziz fault system.
On the fourth of this month, the seismic monitoring stations at the National Earthquake Center recorded 5 main tremors, all of which were in southern Turkey, felt by residents in northern Syria.
