لقي خمسة أشخاص على الأقل مصرعهم، الأحد، إثر تحطم طائرة شحن تابعة لـ«أمازون إير» في مطار ميامي الدولي، بعدما تجاوزت المدرج وخرجت إلى طريق مجاور للمطار، بحسب تسجيلات اتصالات فرق الطوارئ التي حصل عليها موقع «TMZ».
وتحول الحادث إلى مأساة بعدما أكدت المعلومات الأولية تسجيل خمس حالات وفاة، فيما لم تعلن السلطات حتى الآن هوية الضحايا أو الحصيلة النهائية للحادث الذي تعرضت له طائرة من طراز «بوينغ 767».
جثمان أسفل الجناح
وبحسب تسجيلات اتصالات الطوارئ، عُثر على شخص متوفى أسفل الجناح الأيمن للطائرة، فيما لا تزال السلطات تعمل على تحديد هوية الضحايا وحصر عددهم النهائي .
وكانت الطائرة قادمة من سان خوان في بورتوريكو إلى ميامي عندما تجاوزت المدرج أثناء وصولها إلى المطار، قبل أن تغادر نطاقه وتصطدم بشاحنة، وفقاً للمعلومات الواردة في تسجيلات فرق الطوارئ.
«الطائرة تحترق»
وكشفت التسجيلات عن حالة استنفار كبيرة في اللحظات الأولى للحادث، إذ سُمع أحد أفراد فرق الاستجابة وهو يحذر زملاءه قائلاً: «يا شباب، الطائرة تحترق.. الطائرة تحترق، استعدوا».
وأظهرت مقاطع فيديو من موقع الحادث الطائرة وقد تعرضت لأضرار وحروق، وسط تصاعد الدخان وألسنة اللهب، فيما هرعت فرق الطوارئ والإنقاذ إلى المنطقة للتعامل مع الحادث.
«أمازون»: نجمع المعلومات
من جانبها، قالت «أمازون» في بيان لـ«TMZ» إنها لا تزال تجمع المعلومات بشأن الحادث وتتعاون مع المسؤولين المحليين، مؤكدة أن أولويتها تتمثل في سلامة ورعاية جميع الأشخاص المعنيين بالحادث.

The incident turned tragic after initial reports confirmed five fatalities, while authorities have yet to announce the identities of the victims or the final toll from the accident involving a Boeing 767 aircraft.
Body Found Under Wing
According to emergency communication recordings, a deceased person was found under the right wing of the aircraft, while authorities are still working to identify the victims and determine the final count.
The plane was arriving from San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Miami when it overshot the runway upon landing at the airport, before leaving its perimeter and colliding with a truck, according to information from the emergency response recordings.
"The Plane is on Fire"
The recordings revealed a significant state of alert in the moments immediately following the incident, as one of the responders was heard warning his colleagues, saying: "Guys, the plane is on fire... the plane is on fire, get ready."
Videos from the scene showed the aircraft sustained damage and burns, with smoke and flames rising, while emergency and rescue teams rushed to the area to deal with the incident.
"Amazon": We Are Gathering Information
For its part, "Amazon" stated in a statement to "TMZ" that it is still gathering information regarding the incident and cooperating with local authorities, emphasizing that its priority is the safety and care of all individuals involved in the accident.
