شهدت محافظة الجيزة واقعة قتل مأساوية بعدما عُثر على جثمان فتاة مُلقاة في منطقة صحراوية بمدينة 6 أكتوبر، لتبدأ الأجهزة الأمنية تحقيقاتها في ملابسات الحادث الذي أثار صدمة واسعة.
وبمجرد وصول البلاغ، باشرت فرق البحث الجنائي عملها، ليتبين من خلال التحريات أن ابن عم الضحية هو مرتكب الجريمة. وبعد ضبطه، اعترف أمام جهات التحقيق بأنه أقدم على قتلها إثر خلاف نشب بينهما بسبب رفضها الزواج منه، مؤكداً أنه استخدم سلاحًا أبيض خلال الاعتداء، ثم نقل الجثمان إلى منطقة نائية لإخفاء آثار جريمته.
وأمرت النيابة العامة بحبس المتهم أربعة أيام على ذمة التحقيقات، مع استمرار جمع المعلومات واستكمال الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة لكشف جميع تفاصيل الواقعة.
وأثارت الجريمة ردود فعل واسعة على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، حيث شبّه كثيرون الحادث بمقتل الطالبة نيرة أشرف في المنصورة، معتبرين أن تكرار جرائم «القتل بسبب الرفض» يعكس خطورة العنف الموجّه ضد النساء، ومطالبين بتكثيف حملات التوعية والردع للحد من هذه الظاهرة.
The Giza Governorate witnessed a tragic murder incident after the body of a girl was found abandoned in a desert area in 6th of October City, prompting security agencies to begin their investigations into the circumstances of the incident that caused widespread shock.
As soon as the report was received, criminal investigation teams began their work, revealing through investigations that the victim's cousin was the perpetrator of the crime. After his arrest, he confessed to the authorities that he killed her following a dispute that arose between them due to her refusal to marry him, confirming that he used a knife during the assault, and then transported the body to a remote area to conceal the evidence of his crime.
The public prosecutor ordered the detention of the accused for four days pending investigations, while continuing to gather information and complete the necessary legal procedures to uncover all the details of the incident.
The crime sparked widespread reactions on social media, with many comparing the incident to the murder of student Naira Ashraf in Mansoura, considering that the recurrence of "murder due to rejection" reflects the seriousness of violence directed against women, and calling for intensified awareness and deterrence campaigns to curb this phenomenon.
