رفعت شركة «أبل» أسعار اشتراكات خدمة «iCloud+» في ثماني دول حول العالم، من بينها مصر وتركيا، ضمن مراجعة جديدة لأسعار خدماتها الرقمية لمواكبة تقلبات أسعار الصرف وارتفاع قيمة الدولار أمام عدد من العملات المحلية.
وشملت الزيادات، أيضاً، نيجيريا واليابان وفيتنام وإندونيسيا والفلبين ونيوزيلندا، وراوحت نسب الزيادة بين 11% و55%، بحسب الدولة وسعة الباقة التخزينية.
وفي مصر، ارتفع سعر باقة «50 غيغابايت» من 40 إلى 50 جنيهاً شهرياً، بزيادة بلغت نحو 25%، فيما ارتفعت باقة «200 غيغابايت» من 150 إلى 180 جنيهاً، وباقة «2 تيرابايت» من 500 إلى 600 جنيه، كما زادت أسعار باقتي «6 تيرابايت» و«12 تيرابايت» إلى 1,800 و3,600 جنيه على التوالي.
أما في تركيا، فارتفع سعر باقة «50 غيغابايت» من 40 إلى 50 ليرة تقريباً، بينما صعدت باقة «200 غيغابايت» إلى 170 ليرة، وباقة «2 تيرابايت» إلى 550 ليرة، مع زيادات شملت أيضاً الباقات الأعلى سعة.
وأوضحت «أبل»، أن هذه التعديلات تأتي نتيجة تقلبات أسعار العملات في عدد من الأسواق، مؤكدة، أنها لم تُجر أي تغييرات على أسعار الخدمة في الولايات المتحدة أو في الدول غير المشمولة بالقرار. وتمنح الخدمة جميع مستخدمي أجهزة أبل مساحة تخزين مجانية تبلغ «5 غيغابايت»، بينما توفر اشتراكات «iCloud+» مساحات أكبر، إلى جانب مزايا إضافية مثل إخفاء البريد الإلكتروني وتعزيز الخصوصية عبر الإنترنت.
Apple has raised the prices of its "iCloud+" subscription service in eight countries around the world, including Egypt and Turkey, as part of a new review of its digital service prices to keep up with currency fluctuations and the rising value of the dollar against several local currencies.
The increases also affected Nigeria, Japan, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, and New Zealand, with the percentage of increase ranging between 11% and 55%, depending on the country and storage plan capacity.
In Egypt, the price of the "50 GB" plan rose from 40 to 50 Egyptian pounds per month, an increase of about 25%, while the "200 GB" plan increased from 150 to 180 pounds, and the "2 TB" plan from 500 to 600 pounds. Additionally, the prices of the "6 TB" and "12 TB" plans increased to 1,800 and 3,600 pounds, respectively.
In Turkey, the price of the "50 GB" plan rose from about 40 to 50 lira, while the "200 GB" plan increased to 170 lira, and the "2 TB" plan to 550 lira, with increases also affecting the higher capacity plans.
Apple explained that these adjustments are a result of currency fluctuations in several markets, confirming that it has not made any changes to the service prices in the United States or in countries not included in the decision. The service offers all Apple device users a free storage space of "5 GB," while "iCloud+" subscriptions provide larger spaces, along with additional features such as email hiding and enhanced online privacy.
