أطلقت شركة سبيس إكس 24 قمرًا صناعيًا جديدًا من منظومة ستارلينك إلى مدار أرضي منخفض، في خطوة جديدة ضمن خطتها لتوسيع شبكة الإنترنت الفضائي وتعزيز تغطيتها حول العالم.
وانطلق صاروخ فالكون 9 من قاعدة فاندنبرغ الفضائية التابعة للشركة، حاملاً الأقمار إلى مدارها المحدد، قبل أن تعود المرحلة الأولى من الصاروخ وتهبط بنجاح بعد نحو 8 دقائق من الإطلاق على متن سفينة مسيّرة تابعة للشركة في المحيط الهادي.
ويُعد هذا الهبوط الناجح المهمة رقم 35 للمعزز الصاروخي B1071، الذي يواصل سجله التشغيلي ضمن أسطول فالكون 9، الذي نفذ مئات المهمات منذ بدء تشغيله عام 2010.
ويرفع هذا الإطلاق عدد أقمار ستارلينك النشطة إلى أكثر من 10,700 قمر صناعي، ما يعزز قدرة الشبكة على توفير خدمات الإنترنت عالي السرعة لمناطق أوسع، في ظل الطلب المتزايد عالميًا على خدمات الاتصال الفضائي.
SpaceX has launched 24 new satellites from the Starlink system into low Earth orbit, marking a new step in its plan to expand its satellite internet network and enhance coverage around the world.
The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from the company's Vandenberg Space Force Base, carrying the satellites to their designated orbit, before the first stage of the rocket successfully returned and landed approximately 8 minutes after launch on a drone ship operated by the company in the Pacific Ocean.
This successful landing marks mission number 35 for the rocket booster B1071, which continues its operational record within the Falcon 9 fleet, having completed hundreds of missions since its inception in 2010.
This launch increases the number of active Starlink satellites to over 10,700, enhancing the network's ability to provide high-speed internet services to a wider range of areas, amid the growing global demand for satellite communication services.
