تحولت شوارع منطقة مصر الجديدة العريقة إلى مسرح رعب حقيقي وعلني خلال ساعات النهار، بعدما ظهر رجل ضخم البنية بشكل مفاجئ، ليتحول في قمة إثارته إلى مصدر ذعر جماعي دفع السكان للهروب وتجميد حركة المرور في أكثر من شارع رئيسي.
المشهد بدأ بشكل غير متوقع بالمرة، حين لاحظ المارة شخصاً يتجول بطريقة غريبة ومريبة، قبل أن ينفجر الموقف فجأة ويتحول الشارع الهادئ إلى ساحة فوضى عارمة أثارت خيال السكان ليطلقوا عليه لقب «رجل الغابة».
ووصف شهود عيان اللحظات الأولى بأنها «صادمة ومروعة»، مؤكدين أن ما حدث بدا وكأنه مشهد سينمائي هوليوودي:
- حالة هيجان: بدأ الرجل الضخم في الركض بهستيريا بين السيارات والمواطنين محاولاً الاعتداء على المارة بطريقة عشوائية.
- رعب جماعي: تسببت الحادثة في توقف مفاجئ للسيارات، وتجمع المواطنين في محاولة للهروب من طريقه خوفاً من بنيته الجسدية المرعبة.
- استنفار أمني: خلال دقائق، انهالت البلاغات على الأجهزة الأمنية التي تحركت على الفور بفرق مكثفة لإنقاذ الموقف.
وتمكنت قوات الأمن من تتبع تحركات الرجل ومحاصرته بعد مطاردة حبست الأنفاس داخل الشوارع الجانبية لمصر الجديدة.
ونجح رجال الأمن في السيطرة عليه تماماً وشل حركته ونقله بعيداً عن المواطنين، وسط حالة من الارتياح الحذر والأنفاس المتصاعدة بين السكان الذين راقبوا المشهد من النوافذ والمحلات.
لكن المفاجأة الحقيقية والمدوية جاءت لاحقاً بعد فحص هوية الرجل، حيث كشفت التحريات الأمنية الأولية مفاجأة غير متوقعة:
- ليس مجرماً: الرجل لا ينتمي إلى أي نشاط جنائي أو تخريبي مسبق.
- أزمة نفسية: تبين أنه يعاني من اضطراب نفسي حاد وحالة عدم استقرار سلوكي مفاجئة، كانت وراء التصرفات العنيفة والهيجان الصادم الذي أصابه في وضح النهار.
وانتهت الواقعة دون إصابات خطيرة بفضل سرعة تدخل الأمن، لكنها بقيت الحادثة الأكثر غرابة وحديث «السوشيال ميديا» في مصر، بعد أن عاشت المنطقة «فيلم رعب واقعي» حبس أنفاس الجميع.

The scene began unexpectedly when passersby noticed a person wandering in a strange and suspicious manner, before the situation suddenly escalated, turning the quiet street into a chaotic arena that sparked the imagination of the residents, who dubbed him the "Jungle Man."
Eyewitnesses described the initial moments as "shocking and terrifying," confirming that what happened seemed like a Hollywood movie scene:
- Hysteria: The large man began running hysterically between cars and citizens, attempting to attack passersby randomly.
- Collective terror: The incident caused a sudden halt in traffic, with citizens gathering in an attempt to escape his path out of fear of his terrifying physical build.
- Security alert: Within minutes, reports flooded the security agencies, which immediately dispatched intensive teams to manage the situation.
The security forces managed to track the man's movements and corner him after a breath-holding chase through the side streets of Heliopolis.
The security personnel succeeded in completely controlling him, immobilizing him and moving him away from the citizens, amidst a state of cautious relief and rising breaths among the residents who watched the scene from windows and shops.
However, the real and shocking surprise came later after examining the man's identity, as initial security investigations revealed an unexpected surprise:
- Not a criminal: The man does not belong to any prior criminal or destructive activity.
- Mental crisis: It turned out that he suffers from severe psychological disorder and a sudden state of behavioral instability, which was behind the violent actions and shocking hysteria he experienced in broad daylight.
