شهد مطار القاهرة الدولي صباح اليوم (الأحد) حادثة مفاجئة، بعد اندلاع حريق محدود داخل أحد الكرفانات بالمطار، وفق ما أعلنت شركة ميناء القاهرة الجوي.
وأوضحت الشركة أن قوات الحماية المدنية تدخلت على الفور، وتمت السيطرة على الحريق باستخدام مواد الإطفاء الرغوية وأعمال التبريد، دون تسجيل أي إصابات بشرية أو خسائر مادية.
كما توجه فريق من المعمل الجنائي إلى موقع الحريق لإجراء المعاينة الفنية وفتح تحقيق لمعرفة أسباب الواقعة وملابساتها.
وأفادت مصادر بمطار القاهرة أن الحريق وقع داخل أحد المكاتب القريبة من قرية البضائع، مضيفة أن سيارات الإطفاء والإسعاف وصلت بسرعة، وتم التعامل مع الموقف في وقت قياسي.
وأكدت المصادر أن الحادثة لم تؤثر على حركة الملاحة الجوية، حيث استمرت جميع الرحلات في الإقلاع والهبوط وفق الجداول المعتمدة، دون أي تعطيل للمسافرين أو العمليات التشغيلية بالمطار.
This morning (Sunday), Cairo International Airport witnessed an unexpected incident, following a limited fire that broke out inside one of the airport's cabins, according to the Cairo Airport Authority.
The authority clarified that civil protection forces intervened immediately, and the fire was controlled using foam extinguishing materials and cooling operations, with no reported injuries or material losses.
A team from the forensic laboratory also headed to the fire site to conduct a technical inspection and open an investigation to determine the causes and circumstances of the incident.
Sources at Cairo Airport reported that the fire occurred inside one of the offices near the cargo village, adding that fire and ambulance vehicles arrived quickly, and the situation was handled in record time.
The sources confirmed that the incident did not affect air traffic, as all flights continued to take off and land according to the approved schedules, without any disruption to passengers or operational activities at the airport.
