توفيت فتاة عمرها 36 عاماً إثر تعاطيها جرعة زائدة من المخدرات، أثناء جلوسها برفقة صديقها في الطريق المجاور لسور حديقة الميريلاند بمنطقة مصر الجديدة في القاهرة.
هبوط حاد
ووفقاً لتحريات إدارة البحث الجنائي بمديرية أمن القاهرة، كانت الفتاة برفقة صديقها في الشارع المطل على سور الحديقة، وأثناء تعاطيهما عقاراً مخدراً من نوع كونفنتين (Gabapentin)، تعرضت الفتاة لهبوط حاد في الدورة الدموية، فسقطت مغشياً عليها فجأة.
وحاول الشاب إسعافها، لكن حالتها تدهورت بسرعة فائقة، وفارقت الحياة قبل وصول الإسعاف أو نقلها إلى المستشفى.
جرعة زائدة
وألقت الأجهزة الأمنية القبض على الشاب المرافق للفتاة، وبمواجهته اعترف بأنهما كانا يتعاطيان العقار المخدر معاً، وأنها تناولت جرعة زائدة أدت إلى تدهور حالتها الصحية بشكل مفاجئ ووفاتها.
وتباشر النيابة العامة التحقيق في الواقعة، وتم تحرير محضر بالحادثة، وجارٍ استكمال الإجراءات اللازمة، بما في ذلك إعداد تقرير الطب الشرعي لتأكيد سبب الوفاة بدقة (هبوط حاد في الدورة الدموية وتوقف عضلة القلب نتيجة الجرعة الزائدة).
A 36-year-old girl died from a drug overdose while sitting with her friend on the road adjacent to the wall of the Maryland Park in the Heliopolis area of Cairo.
Severe Collapse
According to investigations by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Cairo Security Directorate, the girl was with her friend on the street overlooking the park's wall, and while they were using a drug called Gabapentin, the girl experienced a severe collapse in her circulatory system, suddenly falling unconscious.
The young man tried to assist her, but her condition deteriorated rapidly, and she passed away before the ambulance arrived or she could be taken to the hospital.
Overdose
The security forces arrested the young man accompanying the girl, and when confronted, he admitted that they had been using the drug together, and that she had taken an overdose that led to her sudden health deterioration and death.
The public prosecutor is conducting an investigation into the incident, a report has been filed regarding the accident, and necessary procedures are ongoing, including the preparation of an autopsy report to accurately confirm the cause of death (severe circulatory collapse and cardiac arrest due to the overdose).
