في مشهد بدا وكأنه مقتطع من فيلم خيال علمي، تحوّلت منصة حفل تخرج في الصين إلى مسرح للإبداع، بعدما تقدّم روبوت بخطوات واثقة ليتسلّم شهادة جامعية نيابة عن الطالب الذي صنعه بيديه، مثبتاً أن الابتكار قادر أحياناً على الحضور في غياب صاحبه.
وتعذّر على طالب جامعي في الصين حضور حفل تخرجه، فاختار حلاً غير تقليدي لتمثيله في هذا الحدث المفصلي، إذ أوكل المهمة إلى روبوت قام بتصميمه وتطويره بنفسه ضمن مشروع تخرجه النهائي.
وخلال مراسم الحفل، تقدّم الروبوت بثبات نحو المنصة، وتسلّم شهادة التخرج، ثم صافح أعضاء الهيئة التعليمية، وسط حالة من الدهشة والإعجاب بين الحضور الذين تابعوا المشهد غير المألوف.
