اصطدمت باخرة نيلية سياحية في الساعات الأولى من صباح اليوم (السبت)، بكوبري أعلى نهر النيل في محافظة أسوان جنوبي مصر، ما أدى إلى انهيار جزئي في الكوبري دون وقوع إصابات.
وفور وقوع الحادثة، انتقلت الجهات المعنية إلى موقع التصادم لمعاينته واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة.
وكانت الجهات المختصة قد تلقت بلاغًا باصطدام باخرة سياحية بالكوبري أثناء مرورها بنهر النيل، وعلى الفور تم تحرير محضر بالواقعة، وأُخطرت النيابة العامة لمباشرة التحقيقات.
وبينت مصادر مصرية أن الحادثة وقعت في مدينة دراو عندما اصطدمت الباخرة السياحية «ماركيز 2» بكوبري فارس، ما تسبب في تحطم أجزاء منه ومن جسم الباخرة.
وأكدت المصادر أن الحادثة لم تسفر عن أي خسائر في الأرواح بين الركاب أو طاقم العمل، مشيرة إلى أن الباخرة كانت في رحلة سياحية ضمن الموسم الشتوي بين الأقصر وأسوان.
وتحركت الجهات المعنية فور تلقي البلاغ لاتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة، فيما تم سحب الباخرة إلى ورشة متخصصة لإجراء أعمال الصيانة والإصلاح تمهيدًا لإعادتها إلى الخدمة.
A tourist Nile boat collided in the early hours of this morning (Saturday) with a bridge over the Nile River in Aswan Governorate, southern Egypt, resulting in partial collapse of the bridge without any injuries.
Immediately after the incident, the relevant authorities moved to the collision site to assess the situation and take the necessary actions.
The competent authorities had received a report about the collision of the tourist boat with the bridge while passing through the Nile River, and a report was promptly filed regarding the incident, with the public prosecution being notified to initiate investigations.
Egyptian sources indicated that the incident occurred in the city of Draa when the tourist boat "Marquise 2" collided with the Faris Bridge, causing parts of it and the body of the boat to be damaged.
Sources confirmed that the incident did not result in any loss of life among the passengers or crew, noting that the boat was on a tourist trip as part of the winter season between Luxor and Aswan.
The relevant authorities moved immediately upon receiving the report to take the necessary actions, while the boat was towed to a specialized workshop for maintenance and repair in preparation for its return to service.
