تمكّنت الإدارة العامة للمباحث الجنائية ممثلة في إدارة مباحث المنافذ البرية في الكويت، من ضبط ثلاثة موظفين مدنيين يعملون في الإدارة العامة للمنافذ البرية، بعد قيامهم بالتلاعب في نظام الحاسب الآلي الخاص بتوثيق حركة دخول وخروج المسافرين.
وكشفت وزارة الداخلية الكويتية عبر بيان لها على موقع التواصل الاجتماعي «x»، أن تفاصيل القضية تعود إلى ورود معلومات تفيد بقيام موظفَين، أحدهما في قسم الجوازات بمنفذ النويصيب، والآخر في قسم الجوازات بمنفذ السالمي، باستغلال وظيفتيهما وسلطتهما الممنوحة لهما، من خلال إدخال بيانات غير صحيحة في نظام الحاسب الآلي التابع لوزارة الداخلية، وتسجيل عمليات دخول وخروج وهمية لسجينين (مواطنين) لا أساس لها من الصحة.
وأضافت أنه وبعد التنسيق مع وزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية والعمل، تبين أن المتهمين تقاضيا مساعدات مالية دون وجه حق، رغم مغادرتهما البلاد منذ عدة أشهر، كما أكدت السلطات المختصة في المملكة العربية السعودية من خلال مطابقة سجلات الدخول والخروج عدم صحة البيانات المسجلة في نظام وزارة الداخلية التي تُظهر تواجدهما داخل الكويت، ما أكد وقوع عملية التزوير.
وأشارت الداخلية الكويتية إلى أنه وعلى ضوء ما تقدم، تم استصدار الإذن القانوني اللازم، وضبط المتهمين الأول والثاني في مقري عملهما، حيث اعترفا بما نسب إليهما من تهم وتورط موظف ثالث يعمل في قسم الجوازات بمنفذ السالمي في عمليات التلاعب بالنظام الآلي، وعلى الفور تم ضبطه واتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية بحق المتهمين الثلاثة وإحالتهم إلى جهة الاختصاص.
The General Administration of Criminal Investigations, represented by the Border Crossing Investigations Department in Kuwait, managed to arrest three civilian employees working in the General Administration of Land Ports after they manipulated the computer system responsible for documenting the movement of travelers entering and exiting.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior revealed through a statement on the social media platform "x" that the details of the case stem from information received indicating that two employees, one in the passport section at the Nuwaiseeb crossing and the other in the passport section at the Salmi crossing, exploited their positions and the authority granted to them by entering incorrect data into the computer system of the Ministry of Interior, and recording fictitious entry and exit operations for two prisoners (citizens) that had no basis in truth.
It added that after coordinating with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, it became evident that the accused had received financial assistance without justification, despite having left the country several months ago. The relevant authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia confirmed, through matching entry and exit records, the inaccuracy of the data registered in the Ministry of Interior's system that indicated their presence in Kuwait, which confirmed the occurrence of forgery.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior indicated that in light of the above, the necessary legal permission was obtained, and the first and second accused were arrested at their workplaces, where they confessed to the charges against them and implicated a third employee working in the passport section at the Salmi crossing in the manipulation of the automated system. Immediately, he was arrested, and legal actions were taken against the three accused, and they were referred to the competent authority.
