شهدت مدينة دلهي الهندية حادثة مؤلمة بعدما لقي فتى (14 عامًا) حتفه إثر سقوطه أثناء تصويره مقطع فيديو في منزله. وقعت الحادثة عندما حاول الفتى تصوير نفسه مستخدمًا ستارة مربوطة بمروحة السقف، ووقف على كرسي لتحقيق زاوية أفضل، لكن انزلاق قدمه أدى إلى سقوطه واحتجازه بحبل الستارة الذي أدى لخنقه. ووفقًا للتحقيقات الأولية، كان الفتى يراقب نفسه من خلال شاشة هاتفه المحمول أثناء تسجيل الفيديو، وفجأة فقد توازنه بعد سقوط الكرسي خلفه، مما أدى إلى عدم قدرته على التحرر وإنقاذ نفسه.
لا شبهات جنائية
بعد العثور على الفتى، نُقل على وجه السرعة إلى مستشفى «ديب تشاند باندو»، حيث أعلن الأطباء وفاته فور وصوله. وأوضحت الشرطة بعد الفحص والتحقيقات الميدانية أنه لا توجد علامات على وجود اعتداء أو تدخل خارجي تسبب في الوفاة. وجرت مصادرة الهاتف المحمول وجميع الأدوات المستخدمة أثناء تصوير الفيديو لفحصها ضمن إجراءات التحقيق، التي أكدت أن اللقطات المسجلة تُظهر الحادثة كما وقعت دون وجود أدلة تشير إلى جريمة.
جاء في التقارير أن جثمان الفتى نُقل إلى مستشفى «بابو جاجيفان رام» لإجراء التشريح الطبي، والذي أكدت نتائجه أن الوفاة كانت نتيجة حادثة عرضية. بعد استكمال الإجراءات الرسمية كافة، وجرى تسليم الجثمان إلى أسرته وسط أجواء من الحزن والأسى. وأثارت هذه الحادثة تعليقات واسعة على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، حيث طالب المستخدمون بمزيد من التوعية حول مخاطر محاولات تصوير الفيديوهات الخطيرة داخل المنزل، لا سيما بين الأطفال والمراهقين.

After the boy was found, he was rushed to "Deep Chand Bandhu" Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival. The police clarified after examination and field investigations that there were no signs of assault or external intervention that caused the death. The mobile phone and all tools used during the video recording were confiscated for examination as part of the investigation procedures, which confirmed that the recorded footage shows the incident as it occurred without any evidence indicating a crime.
Reports stated that the boy's body was transferred to "Babu Jagjivan Ram" Hospital for an autopsy, the results of which confirmed that the death was the result of an accidental incident.
