Mark Bray works at Rutgers University as an assistant professor and is an expert in studying anti-fascist movements or right-wing extremism such as the "Antifa" movement. However, pressure has been mounting on him since the assassination of Charlie Kirk, the founder of the "Turning Point USA" movement, as the right-wing movement accused him of being affiliated with "Antifa," which he vehemently denies. A campaign was launched to gather signatures for a petition demanding his dismissal from the university due to this accusation, while supporters of this campaign labeled him as "Dr. Antifa."

The Professor Responds: I am a Researcher, Not an Activist

Bray confirmed that he has never been a member of any "Antifa" organization and that his role is limited to teaching and academic research. However, he has become a target of media attacks and death threats, especially after the threats escalated, revealing his home address on social media, which prompted him to attempt to escape for fear of his life.
