عاشت كلية رويال ليمينجتون سبا في مقاطعة وارويكشاير البريطانية أجواء صادمة، بعدما اقتحم مراهق يبلغ من العمر 17 عاماً قاعة دراسية وهو يحمل ساطوراً، في مشهد مرعب التقطته عدسات طلاب هلعين.

مقطع الفيديو الذي انتشر سريعاً على منصة X أظهر المراهق وهو يخرج السلاح من جيبه ثم يبدأ في التلويح به وضرب إحدى الطاولات، وسط صرخات متواصلة من زملائه الذين حاول بعضهم تهدئته دون جدوى، فيما فر آخرون خوفاً من التعرض للطعن.
تدخل الشرطة
أكدت شرطة وارويكشاير أنها تلقت بلاغاً فورياً عن وجود شاب مسلح داخل الكلية، وتمكنت لاحقاً من القبض عليه في منزله. وأشارت إلى أن الحادثة مرتبطة بخلاف داخلي وليست تهديداً أوسع للمجتمع. كما أعلنت توقيف شابين آخرين إثر شجار منفصل وقع بالتزامن داخل الحرم الجامعي.

وبحسب صحيفة ديلي ميل، وصف المفتش العام سيمون رايان المشهد بأنه «مرعب بكل المقاييس»، مشيداً بسرعة استجابة القوات الأمنية لاحتواء الموقف وطمأنة الطلاب. وأكد أن الدراسة استؤنفت بشكل طبيعي بعد الحادثة. ودعت الشرطة البريطانية أي شخص يمتلك معلومات تساعد في التحقيق إلى التواصل عبر موقعها الإلكتروني أو الاتصال الهاتفي.

The video that quickly spread on platform X showed the teenager pulling the weapon from his pocket and then starting to wave it and strike one of the tables, amidst continuous screams from his classmates, some of whom tried to calm him down to no avail, while others fled in fear of being stabbed.
Police Intervention
Warwickshire Police confirmed that they received an immediate report about an armed young man inside the college and later managed to arrest him at his home. They indicated that the incident was related to an internal dispute and not a broader threat to the community. They also announced the detention of two other young men following a separate fight that occurred simultaneously on campus.

According to the Daily Mail, Inspector Simon Ryan described the scene as "terrifying by all accounts," praising the quick response of security forces to contain the situation and reassure students.
