تصرف أمباني جاء في وقت حساس، إذ يفرض الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب ضغوطاً على نيودلهي لوقف تعاملاتها النفطية مع موسكو، وبدأت الإدارة الأمريكية بالفعل في معاقبة الهند على هذه الخطوة.
اتهامات مبطنة
وعلى الرغم من أن وزير الخزانة الأمريكي سكوت بيسنت لم يذكر أسماءً محددة حين اتهم «أغنى عائلات الهند» بالاستفادة من حرب أوكرانيا، إلا أن أصابع الاتهام وُجهت فوراً نحو إمبراطورية أمباني.

Ambani's actions came at a sensitive time, as U.S. President Donald Trump is pressuring New Delhi to halt its oil dealings with Moscow, and the U.S. administration has already begun punishing India for this move.
Subtle Accusations
Although U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Pison did not mention specific names when he accused "the richest families in India" of benefiting from the Ukraine war, fingers were immediately pointed at Ambani's empire.
