The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), in collaboration with the University of Oxford, has launched a global camp specialized in AI application engineering, with the participation of 30 promising Saudi students. This initiative reflects the Kingdom's commitment to qualifying human capital and enhancing its technical capabilities within the targets of Saudi Vision 2030. The program spans eight weeks, combining remote learning and in-person attendance, where students receive intensive training on the latest AI technologies, including deep learning, computer vision, generative models, and building solutions using global programming languages and frameworks such as Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. The camp also includes practical sessions and applied projects that simulate real-world challenges in vital sectors such as energy, health, and logistics, contributing to the preparation of a generation capable of innovating quality solutions that support the Kingdom's digital transformation. The program targets recent graduates with bachelor's and master's degrees in artificial intelligence and computer science who have passed precise assessment tests and personal interviews qualifying them for participation in this unique international camp. This initiative is part of SDAIA's efforts to build an integrated national ecosystem for data and artificial intelligence and to enhance the Kingdom's global competitiveness as a major hub for future technologies and knowledge production. This cohort of students represents the nucleus of future experts capable of leading quality projects in government institutions and the private sector, enriching the local market with qualified talents able to transfer knowledge and make a difference in the Saudi digital economy.
