ووصلت ثروة إليسون (81 عاماً) إلى 393 مليار دولار بعدما أضاف 101 مليار دولار في يوم واحد، مقابل 385 مليار دولار لإيلون ماسك.
أداء قياسي يغيّر الموازين
جاءت هذه القفزة بعد أن أعلنت أوراكل نتائج ربع سنوية فاقت التوقعات، لتقفز أسهمها بنسبة 41% في جلسة واحدة، وهو ارتفاع نادر لشركة تبلغ قيمتها السوقية نحو 700 مليار دولار.
وعلى مدار العام، ارتفعت أسهم أوراكل بنسبة 103%، فيما انخفضت أسهم تيسلا المملوكة لماسك بنسبة 13%، ما أدى إلى تراجع مكانته على قائمة الأثرياء.
صفقات ضخمة مع الذكاء الاصطناعي
في يوليو الماضي، وقّعت أوراكل صفقة كبرى لتزويد شركة OpenAI (الشركة الأم لـ ChatGPT) بـ 4.5 غيغاواط من الكهرباء لتشغيل عمليات الذكاء الاصطناعي الخاصة بها. كما أعلنت الرئيسة التنفيذية سافرا كاتز أربعة عقود بمليارات الدولارات في الربع الأخير.
ملياردير بدأ من الصفر
بدأ صعود إليسون منذ عام 1977 حين ترك دراسته الجامعية ليشارك في تأسيس أوراكل. واليوم، يمتلك 98% من جزيرة لاناي في هاواي، ويُنسب إليه إحياء بطولة إنديان ويلز للتنس في كاليفورنيا.
كما يتمتع بعلاقات وثيقة مع الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، جعلته يظهر معه في العديد من فعاليات التكنولوجيا.

Ellison's wealth (81 years old) reached $393 billion after adding $101 billion in a single day, compared to $385 billion for Elon Musk.
Record Performance Shifts the Balance
This leap came after Oracle announced quarterly results that exceeded expectations, causing its shares to jump by 41% in one session, a rare increase for a company valued at around $700 billion.
Over the year, Oracle's shares rose by 103%, while shares of Tesla, owned by Musk, fell by 13%, leading to a decline in his position on the rich list.
Massive Deals with Artificial Intelligence
Last July, Oracle signed a major deal to supply OpenAI (the parent company of ChatGPT) with 4.5 gigawatts of electricity to power its artificial intelligence operations. CEO Safra Catz also announced four multi-billion dollar contracts in the last quarter.
A Billionaire Who Started from Scratch
Ellison's rise began in 1977 when he dropped out of college to co-found Oracle. Today, he owns 98% of Lanai Island in Hawaii and is credited with reviving the Indian Wells tennis tournament in California.
He also has close ties with U.S. President Donald Trump, which has led him to appear with him at several technology events.
