أصبح الأمير الياباني هيساهيتو هو أول ذكر في العائلة الإمبراطورية يصل إلى سن الرشد في 40 عاماً، وقد يكون الأخير أيضاً.

Born on September 6, 2006, Hisahito is the only son of Crown Prince Akishino, the heir to the throne, and his wife Crown Princess Kiko. He has two older sisters, beloved Princess Kako and former Princess Mako, who had to renounce her imperial status to marry someone outside the imperial family.
The coming-of-age rituals for Hisahito are held a year after he turns 18, as he became a legal adult then, since he wanted to focus on university entrance exams.
