أصدرت محكمة في شرق روسيا (قرب الحدود مع الصين) حكماً بالسجن 15 عاماً بحق رجل (32 عاما) بعد إدانته بقتل زوجته السابقة بطريقة مروّعة، إذ أطلق عليها النار 12 مرة في الشارع، ما أدى إلى وفاتها على الفور.
وكشفت التحقيقات أن العلاقة بين الزوجين كانت متوترة منذ فترة طويلة، إذ عاشا منفصلين وسط خلافات متكررة. وفي مساء السادس من أكتوبر الماضي، تعقّب المتهم زوجته البالغة من العمر 31 عاماً، قبل أن يواجهها حاملاً سلاحاً نارياً معدّلاً ويطلق عليها وابلاً من الرصاص.
وألقت الشرطة القبض على الجاني فور وقوع الحادثة، فيما أكدت تقارير خبراء الأسلحة أن المسدس المستخدم جرى تعديله من سلاح صوتي إلى سلاح قاتل. كما وثقت كاميرات المراقبة لحظة الجريمة، إلى جانب شهادات شهود العيان.
وبعد تحقيقات استمرت أشهر عدة، أدانت المحكمة المتهم بجريمتي القتل العمد وحيازة سلاح وذخيرة غير قانونية، لتقضي بسجنه في مستعمرة عقابية مشددة لمدة 15 عاماً.
وأعادت القضية تسليط الضوء على العنف الأسري في روسيا، الذي يثير قلقاً متزايداً لدى منظمات حقوقية محلية ودولية.
A court in eastern Russia (near the border with China) sentenced a 32-year-old man to 15 years in prison after he was convicted of brutally killing his ex-wife by shooting her 12 times in the street, resulting in her immediate death.
Investigations revealed that the relationship between the couple had been strained for a long time, as they lived separately amid recurring disputes. On the evening of October 6th, the accused tracked down his 31-year-old wife before confronting her with a modified firearm and unleashing a barrage of bullets.
The police arrested the perpetrator immediately after the incident, while reports from weapon experts confirmed that the pistol used had been modified from a blank-firing gun to a lethal weapon. Surveillance cameras documented the moment of the crime, along with testimonies from eyewitnesses.
After several months of investigations, the court found the accused guilty of premeditated murder and illegal possession of a weapon and ammunition, sentencing him to 15 years in a high-security penal colony.
The case has brought renewed attention to domestic violence in Russia, which is raising increasing concern among local and international human rights organizations.
