كشفت وزارة الداخلية المصرية واقعة اختطاف رضيع يبلغ من العمر 3 أشهر داخل أحد المستشفيات بالقاهرة، بعد أن أقدمت سيدة على خطفه لإيهام زوجها بأنها أنجبته.
وذكرت والدة الطفل أنها اصطحبته إلى المستشفى لعلاجه من الأنيميا يوم 15 أغسطس الجاري، وتركت رضيعها لدى سيدة لحين الاستفسار عن أسعار التحاليل، غير أن الأخيرة غافلتها واختفت به. وعلى الفور، توجهت الأم إلى قسم الشرطة للإبلاغ عن الواقعة.
وقالت الداخلية المصرية في بيان إن التحريات أسفرت عن تحديد هوية المتهمة، وهي ربة منزل مقيمة بدائرة قسم شرطة الزيتون، حيث اعترفت باختطاف الطفل بعدما فشل حملها، ورغبتها في إيهام زوجها بأنها وضعت مولودًا.
وأكد البيان العثور على الرضيع بحالة صحية جيدة، وتسليمه لوالدته بعد أخذ التعهد اللازم عليها بحسن رعايته، فيما جرى اتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية بحق المتهمة.
The Egyptian Ministry of Interior revealed an incident of the kidnapping of a 3-month-old infant inside a hospital in Cairo, after a woman attempted to kidnap him to deceive her husband into believing that she had given birth.
The child's mother stated that she took him to the hospital for treatment of anemia on August 15, and left her infant with a woman while she inquired about the prices of tests. However, the latter took advantage of the situation and disappeared with him. Immediately, the mother went to the police station to report the incident.
The Egyptian Ministry of Interior stated in a statement that investigations led to identifying the suspect, a housewife residing in the area of the El-Zeitoun police station, who confessed to kidnapping the child after her pregnancy failed, and her desire to deceive her husband into believing that she had given birth.
The statement confirmed that the infant was found in good health and was handed over to his mother after she provided the necessary commitment to take good care of him, while legal actions were taken against the suspect.
