أثار مطعم بيتزا في بلدة بيشيلي الإيطالية جدلاً واسعًا بعد أن فرض على السباحة الأولمبية إلينا دي ليدو رسومًا إضافية قدرها 1.50 يورو مقابل حذف الطماطم من بيتزا طلبتها، إضافة إلى 1.50 يورو أخرى لطلبها أن تكون خالية من اللاكتوز، ليصل المبلغ الإجمالي إلى 17 يورو بدل السعر المدرج في القائمة وهو 14 يورو.
ونشرت السباحة الإيطالية دي ليدو البالغة من العمر 31 عامًا والمتخصصة في سباقات الفراشة، عبر حسابها على إنستغرام صورة لفاتورة المطعم، ووصفت الأمر بأنه «محزن ومخز»، متسائلة عن قانونيته.
وأثارت الحادثة التي وقعت أخيرا اهتمام وسائل الإعلام الإيطالية، بينما التزم المطعم الصمت حيال الانتقادات. وتُعد دي ليدو من أبرز السباحات الإيطاليات، حيث مثّلت بلادها في بطولات دولية كبرى، بينها أولمبياد طوكيو 2020، وحصدت إنجازات بارزة في السباقات الفردية والتتابعية.
A pizza restaurant in the Italian town of Peschiera has sparked widespread controversy after it charged Olympic swimmer Elena Di Liddo an additional €1.50 for removing tomatoes from a pizza she ordered, along with another €1.50 for requesting it to be lactose-free, bringing the total amount to €17 instead of the listed price of €14.
The 31-year-old Italian swimmer, who specializes in butterfly races, posted a picture of the restaurant's bill on her Instagram account, describing the situation as "sad and shameful," questioning its legality.
