بعد ثماني سنوات من العلاقة التي بدأت عام 2017، أعلن نجم كرة القدم البرتغالي كريستيانو رونالدو (40 عاماً) خطوبته من شريكته الإسبانية-الأرجنتينية جورجينا رودريغيز (31 عاماً).
جورجينا كشفت الخبر مساء اليوم (الإثنين) عبر حسابها في «إنستغرام»، حيث نشرت صورة من العاصمة السعودية الرياض ليدها متشابكة مع يد رونالدو، وهي ترتدي خاتم خطوبة ماسياً ضخماً بيضاوي الشكل، وكتبت تعليقاً: «نعم أوافق.. في هذه الحياة وفي كل حياتي».
الثنائي الذي ظهر لأول مرة في مناسبة عامة خلال حفل جوائز «فيفا» في زيورخ مطلع 2017، يشترك اليوم في تربية خمسة أطفال: التوأم إيفا ماريا وماتيو (8 أعوام)، وألانا (7 أعوام)، وبيلّا (3 أعوام)، إلى جانب كريستيانو جونيور (15 عاماً).
وعرفت علاقتهما محطات سعيدة ومؤلمة، إذ سبق أن أعلنا في أبريل 2022 وفاة شقيق بيلّا التوأم، أنخيل، عقب ولادته مباشرة، وهو ما وصفته جورجينا في برنامجها الوثائقي على «نتفليكس» بأنه «أفضل وأسوأ لحظة في حياتي». وأضافت أن رونالدو كان الداعم الأكبر لها لتجاوز الفقدان ومواصلة الحياة.
وفي السلسلة ذاتها، تحدث الاثنان عن بدايات تعارفهما حين كانت جورجينا تعمل في متجر «غوتشي»، وروت كيف كان رونالدو يأتي لاصطحابها بسياراته الفارهة، قائلة: «زملائي كانوا يذهبون بالحافلة، أما أنا فأغادر في سيارة بوغاتي».
رونالدو، الذي يعد أحد أكثر الرياضيين شهرة في العالم، ارتبط اسمه بجورجينا منذ أعوام، ومع إعلان الخطوبة، باتت الأنظار تتجه إلى تفاصيل الزفاف المرتقب لهذا الثنائي الأشهر في الساحة الرياضية.
After eight years of a relationship that began in 2017, Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo (40 years old) announced his engagement to his Spanish-Argentinian partner Georgina Rodriguez (31 years old).
Georgina revealed the news this evening (Monday) via her account on Instagram, where she posted a picture from the Saudi capital Riyadh of her hand intertwined with Ronaldo's, wearing a massive oval-shaped diamond engagement ring, and wrote a caption: "Yes, I agree... in this life and in all my lives."
The couple, who first appeared together at a public event during the FIFA Awards in Zurich in early 2017, are now raising five children together: twins Eva Maria and Mateo (8 years old), Alana (7 years old), Bella (3 years old), along with Cristiano Jr. (15 years old).
Their relationship has seen both happy and painful moments, as they previously announced in April 2022 the death of Bella's twin brother, Angel, shortly after his birth, which Georgina described in her Netflix documentary as "the best and worst moment of my life." She added that Ronaldo was her biggest supporter in overcoming the loss and continuing with life.
In the same series, the two talked about the beginnings of their acquaintance when Georgina worked at a Gucci store, and she recounted how Ronaldo would come to pick her up in his luxury cars, saying: "My colleagues would take the bus, while I would leave in a Bugatti."
