في واقعة حبسَت الأنفاس على ارتفاع آلاف الأقدام، تحوّلت رحلة جوية عادية بين لندن ومومباي إلى مشهد مقلق بعدما أصيب خمسة ركاب واثنان من طاقم الطائرة بحالات دوار وغثيان مفاجئة، وسط أجواء من الذعر والترقب داخل الطائرة التابعة لشركة «أير إنديا» الهندية.
الرحلة كانت تسير بهدوء من مطار هيثرو، حتى بدأت الأعراض تظهر بشكل متتالٍ، وفي مراحل مختلفة، ما زاد الغموض وأسئلة الركاب.. هل هناك تسرّب أو تلوث في الهواء؟ أم أن شيئاً خفيّاً يهدد الجميع؟
رغم الأجواء المشحونة، تمكّن الطيار من الهبوط الآمن في مومباي، حيث كانت الطواقم الطبية بانتظار الطائرة.
أربعة من المصابين نُقلوا إلى الفحص الطبي، ثم سُمح لهم بالمغادرة بعد استقرار حالتهم، لكن القصة لم تنتهِ هنا.. «إأير إنديا» أبلغت الجهات المختصة، وبدأ التحقيق في الحادثة الغريبة، إذ تبيّن عدم وجود أعطال، ولا مؤشرات على تسرّب كيميائي أو نقص في الأوكسجين.
In a breath-holding incident at thousands of feet, a routine flight between London and Mumbai turned into a troubling scene after five passengers and two crew members experienced sudden dizziness and nausea, amidst an atmosphere of panic and anticipation inside the Indian airline "Air India."
The flight was proceeding smoothly from Heathrow Airport until the symptoms began to appear in succession, at different stages, increasing the mystery and questions among the passengers... Is there a leak or contamination in the air? Or is there something hidden threatening everyone?
Despite the charged atmosphere, the pilot managed to land safely in Mumbai, where medical teams were waiting for the aircraft.
Four of the injured were taken for medical examination, and they were allowed to leave after their condition stabilized, but the story did not end there... "Air India" informed the relevant authorities, and an investigation into the strange incident began, as it turned out that there were no malfunctions, nor any indicators of chemical leakage or oxygen deficiency.
