The instant messaging application (WhatsApp) continues to develop its services, as Meta is testing a new tool that allows users to create smart chatbots within the app, in a move to compete with platforms like OpenAI and Gemini.

Although the Meta AI feature has been available on WhatsApp for some time, enabling users to create images or recipes through text prompts, the new tool will elevate this experience, as it will soon allow for reading images and videos and generating more advanced interactive content.

According to the latest information, a new tab called AI Studio has been added in the beta version of WhatsApp, allowing the creation of chatbots without the need for programming expertise, with the ability to customize them to become conversation partners.

This feature will be gradually rolled out to users on both Android and iOS, with expectations for its expansion later on.
