في حادثة لافتة، تعرض متحف جريفان الشهير في باريس لسرقة تمثال شمعي للرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون، تبلغ قيمته 40 ألف يورو.
وسُرق التمثال على يد 3 نشطاء، امرأتان ورجل، ونُقل مباشرة إلى السفارة الروسية في العاصمة الفرنسية احتجاجًا على موقف فرنسا من الحرب في أوكرانيا.
ووفقًا لتقارير وكالة نوفا الإيطالية، دخل المتهمون المتحف متنكرين كحرفيين أو موظفين، واستغلوا انشغال أحد الحراس ليقوموا بسرقة التمثال.
بينما أكدت صحيفة «إنفوباي» الأرجنتينية أن النشطاء ينتمون إلى منظمة «جرينبيس»، وأن الهدف من العملية هو التنديد بتورط فرنسا في النزاع الأوكراني.
وأفادت المنظمة، في بيان صحفي، بأن المجموعة تنكرت كسياح في البداية، ثم ارتدت ملابس الحرفيين داخل المتحف، مما ساعدهم في نقل التمثال بسهولة دون لفت الانتباه.
In a striking incident, the famous Grévin Museum in Paris was robbed of a wax statue of French President Emmanuel Macron, valued at 40,000 euros.
The statue was stolen by three activists, two women and a man, and was taken directly to the Russian embassy in the French capital in protest against France's stance on the war in Ukraine.
According to reports from the Italian news agency Nova, the suspects entered the museum disguised as artisans or employees, taking advantage of one guard's distraction to steal the statue.
Meanwhile, the Argentine newspaper "Infobae" confirmed that the activists belong to the organization "Greenpeace," and that the aim of the operation was to denounce France's involvement in the Ukrainian conflict.
The organization stated in a press release that the group initially disguised themselves as tourists, then changed into artisan clothing inside the museum, which helped them easily transport the statue without attracting attention.
