أعلن مركز رصد الزلازل الأوروبي المتوسطي (الخميس) أن زلزالاً شدته 5.5 درجة ضرب جنوب إيران.
وأضاف المركز أن الزلزال كان على عمق 27 كيلومتراً.
وفي مارس الماضي، ضرب زلزال بقوة خمس درجات منطقة نطنز في إقليم أصفهان بوسط إيران، حيث يوجد موقع نووي رئيسي.
وأشارت التقارير إلى عدم وقوع إصابات جراء الزلزال، لكنه أدى لتحطم نوافذ عدة وحدات سكنية في عدد من القرى.
يذكر أن إيران تتعرض من وقت لآخر لزلازل وهزات أرضية بقوة مختلفة، نظراً لوقوعها فوق منطقة فوالق رئيسية.
The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre announced on Thursday that a 5.5 magnitude earthquake struck southern Iran.
The center added that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 27 kilometers.
Last March, a magnitude five earthquake hit the Natanz area in Isfahan province in central Iran, where a major nuclear site is located.
Reports indicated that there were no injuries from the earthquake, but it caused windows to shatter in several residential units in a number of villages.
It is worth mentioning that Iran experiences earthquakes and tremors of varying magnitudes from time to time, due to its location over major fault lines.
