ومع ذلك يحذر خبراء الأمن القومي عبر شبكة «فوكس نيوز» من أن هذه الصفقة لا تعالج التهديدات الكبيرة التي تشكلها التكنولوجيا الصينية على الأمن الأمريكي، خصوصاً في ظل استمرار استخدام الأجهزة الصينية من قبل مسؤولي الحكومة على المستويين الاتحادي والمحلي.
ووفقاً لتشريعات الحكومة الصينية، يُطلب من الشركات الصينية مشاركة البيانات التي تجمعها مع الحزب الشيوعي الصيني، ما يعني أن أجهزة التكنولوجيا الصينية قد تتيح لخصم استراتيجي مثل الصين الوصول إلى معلومات حساسة تتعلق بالمواطنين الأمريكيين، والاتصالات الحكومية، والتخطيط العسكري، والبنية التحتية الحيوية.
ويصف الخبراء هذا الوضع بأنه جرح ذاتي يستمر في النزف بسبب غياب توجيهات فيدرالية واضحة.
في هذا السياق، دعا الخبير الأمني المساهم في شبكة «فوكس نيوز» تشاد وولف إلى اتخاذ إجراءات فورية لحظر استخدام الأجهزة التكنولوجية الصينية في الوكالات الحكومية الأمريكية، معتبراً أن استمرار السماح باستخدام هذه الأجهزة يشكل تهديداً مباشراً للأمن القومي وسلامة المواطنين.
وأكد وولف أن هذا الإجراء يتطلب قراراً جريئاً من إدارة ترمب والكونغرس لضمان حماية البنية التحتية الحكومية وبيانات المواطنين.
من جانبه، أشار الباحث البارز في معهد غيتستون غوردون تشانغ، خلال ظهوره في برنامج Life, Liberty & Levin، إلى أن الرئيس ترمب أدرك مبكراً أن الصين تسير على مسار تصادمي مع الولايات المتحدة والعالم، ما دفعه إلى اتخاذ سياسات صلبة مثل التعريفات الجمركية ومحاولات فصل قطاعات اقتصادية أمريكية عن الاعتماد على الصين.
وأضاف: ترمب يظهر التزاماً قوياً بمواجهة النفوذ الصيني المتزايد في الشؤون الخارجية الأمريكية.
واقترح وولف أن تبدأ إدارة ترمب بحظر شامل على شراء الأجهزة والتقنيات الصينية في جميع الوكالات الفيدرالية، مع دعوة الكونغرس لسن تشريعات تعزز هذا المبدأ.
وأكد أن مثل هذه الخطوات ستحمي الأنظمة الحكومية الحساسة وتمنع الشركات الصينية من استغلال ثغرات أمنية عبر سياسات تصنيع خفية.
ومع استمرار التوترات بين واشنطن وبكين، يرى المحللون أن حماية الأمن القومي الأمريكي تتطلب إجراءات حاسمة لضمان عدم اختراق الأنظمة التكنولوجية الحكومية.

For his part, prominent researcher at the Gatestone Institute Gordon Chang, during his appearance on the program Life, Liberty & Levin, pointed out that President Trump recognized early on that China was on a collision course with the United States and the world, prompting him to adopt tough policies such as tariffs and attempts to decouple American economic sectors from reliance on China.
He added: Trump shows a strong commitment to confronting China's growing influence in American foreign affairs.
Wolf suggested that the Trump administration should implement a comprehensive ban on the purchase of Chinese devices and technologies across all federal agencies, while urging Congress to enact legislation that reinforces this principle.
He affirmed that such steps would protect sensitive government systems and prevent Chinese companies from exploiting security vulnerabilities through covert manufacturing policies.
