استقبل أمير المنطقة الشرقية الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز، في مكتبه بديوان الإمارة اليوم (الثلاثاء)، رئيس مجلس إدارة الاتحاد السعودي لكرة اليد حسن بن نصر هلال، يرافقه أعضاء مجلس الإدارة.
وثمّن أمير المنطقة الشرقية الجهود التي تبذلها القيادة في دعم القطاع الرياضي، مشيرًا إلى أن ما يشهده القطاع من تطور ومكتسبات يأتي ترجمةً لرؤية السعودية 2030، التي جعلت من الرياضة أحد محركات التنمية المجتمعية والاقتصادية، منوهًا بالدور الذي يقوم به الاتحاد السعودي لكرة اليد، في تشجيع الشباب على ممارسة الأنشطة الرياضية، بما يعزز حضور المملكة في المحافل الإقليمية والدولية.
وقدم رئيس المجلس لأمير المنطقة الشرقية شرحاً عن جهود الاتحاد السعودي في تطوير لعبة كرة اليد على مستوى المملكة بشكل عام، والمنطقة الشرقية بشكل خاص، إلى جانب الخطط المستقبلية الهادفة إلى توسيع قاعدة الممارسين ورفع مستوى المنافسات المحلية بما يسهم في تحقيق التميز القاري والدولي.
ورفع حسن هلال شكره وتقديره لأمير المنطقة الشرقية على دعمه واهتمامه برياضة كرة اليد، مؤكدًا أن هذا الدعم يُعد حافزًا لمضاعفة الجهود لتحقيق مزيد من الإنجازات.
The Prince of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, received today (Tuesday) in his office at the Emirate's Diwan, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Handball Federation, Hassan bin Nasr Hilal, accompanied by members of the board.
The Prince of the Eastern Province appreciated the efforts made by the leadership in supporting the sports sector, noting that the development and achievements witnessed in the sector are a reflection of Saudi Vision 2030, which has made sports one of the drivers of community and economic development. He highlighted the role played by the Saudi Handball Federation in encouraging youth to engage in sports activities, which enhances the Kingdom's presence in regional and international forums.
The Chairman provided the Prince of the Eastern Province with an explanation of the Saudi Federation's efforts to develop the sport of handball at the national level in general, and in the Eastern Province in particular, along with future plans aimed at expanding the base of practitioners and raising the level of local competitions, contributing to achieving continental and international excellence.
Hassan Hilal expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Prince of the Eastern Province for his support and interest in handball, affirming that this support serves as an incentive to double efforts to achieve further accomplishments.
