تُجرى عند تمام الثالثة من عصر اليوم (الخميس) مراسم قرعة دور الـ16 من كأس خادم الحرمين الشريفين للموسم الحالي، بعد اكتمال الفرق الـ16 المتأهلة.
وكان أول المتأهلين الأهلي ومن ثم الباطن (على حساب الاتفاق في واحدة من مفاجآت المسابقة) والأخدود والتعاون، كما تأهل الخلود والخليج والهلال، فيما تأهل الشباب (بركلات الترجيح على حساب مضيفه أبها)، وفي واحدة من أكبر المفاجآت تأهل الزلفي بركلات الترجيح متفوقاً على الفيحاء، وتأهل (حامل اللقب) الاتحاد و(الوصيف) القادسية، وكذلك النصر والرياض والفتح والنجمة والحزم.
وستكون القرعة مفتوحة، ولن يتم تحديد أي شيء، بعكس ما حدث في دور الـ32 عندما تم تحديد الملاعب لفرق دوري يلو للدرجة الأولى، التي سببت بعض المعاناة لفرق دوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين.
الجدير بالذكر أن دور ثمن النهائي للنسخة الماضية شهد مواجهات قوية، إذ خسر النصر من التعاون بهدف دون مقابل، وانتصر الشباب على الرياض بهدفين دون مقابل.
وإضافة لوجود الزلفي في دور الـ16 لأول مرة في تاريخه، فإن فرق؛ الأهلي والخليج والخلود والفتح والحزم والباطن تظهر في هذه النسخة بعد غيابها في النسخة الماضية.

The draw for the Round of 16 of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup for the current season will take place at exactly 3 PM today (Thursday), after the completion of the 16 qualified teams.
The first to qualify was Al-Ahli, followed by Al-Batin (at the expense of Al-Ittifaq in one of the surprises of the tournament), Al-Okhdood, and Al-Taawun. Additionally, Al-Khulood, Al-Khaleej, and Al-Hilal qualified, while Al-Shabab advanced (through penalties against their host Abha). In one of the biggest surprises, Al-Zulfi qualified through penalties, surpassing Al-Faihah. The defending champion Al-Ittihad and the runner-up Al-Qadisiyah also qualified, along with Al-Nassr, Al-Riyadh, Al-Fateh, Al-Najma, and Al-Hazm.
The draw will be open, and nothing will be predetermined, unlike what happened in the Round of 32 when the venues were set for the Yelo League teams, which caused some difficulties for the teams in the Saudi Pro League.
It is worth mentioning that the Round of 16 in the previous edition saw strong matches, as Al-Nassr lost to Al-Taawun by a goal to nil, and Al-Shabab defeated Al-Riyadh by two goals to nil.
