وصف المحاضر الآسيوي في كرة القدم يحيى جابر، في حديثه لـ«عكاظ»، أن فوز فريق الشباب على أبها في أبها كان مثيراً. وقال: استمتعنا بلقاء جميل حسمه الشباب بركلات الترجيح، والتأهل لدور الـ 16 في مسابقة كأس خادم الحرمين الشريفين، التي شهدت أحداثاً ساخنة أبرزها طرد لاعبيْن من فريق الشباب.
ناقص لاعبيْن لمدة 80 دقيقة
وقال، منذ الدقيقة الـ 45 وحتى نهاية اللقاء، لعب الشباب ناقص لاعبيْن لمدة 80 دقيقة ولم يستغلها زعيم الجنوب، فيما استطاع الشباب جر أبها لكثير من المصائد التكتيكية، التي من أبرزها اللعب على التحول من الدفاع للهجوم بسرعة، وساهم في ذلك كفاءة محترف الشباب كاراسكو الذي دوّخ 6 مدافعين أبهاويين، وكان فعّالاً في قلب موازين المباراة والوصول لضربات الترجيح التي كانت هدفاً استراتيجياً خلال اللقاء لمدرب الشباب الإسباني ايمانويل.
تراخٍ كبير من لاعبي أبها
وأضاف: شهد الشوط الثاني تراخياً كبيراً من لاعبي أبها عموماً مع الاتكالية، ولم يستفد مدرب أبها الكرواتي داير بوريتش من النقص، كما لم يظهر لاعبو أبها مشعل المطيري، والظهير محمد العوفي، وبديله حازم الزهراني، وسويلم المنهالي، وعبدالله الفهد بالمستوى التكتيكي الجيد، إضافة لضعف الفريق في التحولات الهجومية والدفاعية، وأعتقد أن خروج أبها يخدم الفريق الأبهاوي للتركيز على دوري يلو، وعدم جدوى المواصلة؛ نظراً للفوارق الكبيرة في الإمكانات.

The Asian football commentator Yahya Jaber described, in his talk to "Okaz," that the victory of Al-Shabab team over Abha in Abha was thrilling. He said: "We enjoyed a beautiful match that was decided by penalties, and the qualification for the Round of 16 in the King Abdulaziz Cup witnessed heated events, the most notable of which was the expulsion of two players from Al-Shabab."

This was aided by the efficiency of Al-Shabab's professional player Carrasco, who bewildered six Abha defenders and was effective in shifting the balance of the match and reaching the penalties, which was a strategic goal during the match for Al-Shabab's Spanish coach, Emmanuel."
"A significant slack from Abha players"
He added: "The second half witnessed a significant slack from Abha players in general, along with a sense of reliance. Abha's Croatian coach Dayer Buric did not benefit from the numerical disadvantage, and Abha players Mishal Al-Mutairi, defender Mohammed Al-Aufi, his substitute Hazem Al-Zahrani, Suwailem Al-Minhali, and Abdullah Al-Fahd did not show a good tactical level. Additionally, the team was weak in both offensive and defensive transitions, and I believe that Abha's exit serves the Abha team to focus on the Yelo League, as continuing is futile due to the significant differences in capabilities."
