يلتقي فريق الاتحاد بضيفه فريق الفتح عند تمام الساعة التاسعة من مساء اليوم (الجمعة) على استاد الإنماء بمدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية بجدة، ضمن لقاءات الجولة الثانية لدوري روشن السعودي للمحترفين.
يدخل فريق الاتحاد هذا اللقاء بعد فوزه القوي على مضيفه الأخدود بخمسة أهداف لهدفين، وكان الدور الأكبر في تحقيق الفوز لقائده كريم بنزيما بإحرازه لـ(هاتريك)، والذي سيغيب في لقاء الليلة مما سيؤثر كثيراً على القوة الهجومية للفريق، ويطمح حامل اللقب فريق الاتحاد لتحقيق فوزه الثاني في الدوري ومواصلة منافسته للحفاظ على لقبه رغم صعوبة اللقاء للغيابات التي يعاني منها الفريق، فبالإضافة لغياب بنزيما يغيب أيضاً الحارس الصربي رايكوفيتش والمدافع حسن كادش، إذ يُفضل المدرب الفرنسي لوران بلان عدم المجازفة بهما لا سيما أن الفريق تنتظره مهمة آسيوية يوم الاثنين القام عندما يحل ضيفاً على الوحدة الإماراتي.
فيما يدخل فريق الفتح هذا اللقاء بعد خسارته في الجولة الأولى أمام ضيفه الفيحاء بهدفين لهدف، ويسعى الفريق الفتحاوي لتحقيق الفوز وتعويض الخسارة، لا سيما أن الفريق حضر مبكراً لجدة وأدى تدريباً يوم أمس (الخميس) اعتمد فيه مدربه على تطبيق الخطط الدفاعية والاعتماد على الهجمات المرتدة، وسيشارك الوافد الجديد الحارس الإسباني فرناندو باتشيكو الذي أتم إجراءات الفحص الطبي وشارك في تدريب الفريق.
وسبق أن التقى الفريقان في 32 لقاء في دوري المحترفين، تمكن الاتحاد من الفوز في 14 لقاء، فيما فاز الفتح في 7 لقاءات، كان آخرها في الموسم الماضي بنتيجة 2/ 1، فيما حسم التعادل 11 مباراة، وتمكن هجوم الاتحاد من تسجيل 62 هدفاً، بينما سجل هجوم الفتح 44 هدفاً.
