حقق المنتخب السعودي لليوجاسانا إنجازًا تاريخيًّا في البطولة الآسيوية السادسة، بحصوله على 4 ميداليات ذهبية، وبرونزيتين، خلال مشاركته في بطولة آسيا السادسة بمدينة الفجيرة بدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، التي نظمها الاتحاد الإماراتي للرياضة، تحت رعاية ولي عهد الفجيرة الشيخ محمد بن حمد الشرقي، وتحت مظلة الاتحاد الآسيوي لرياضات اليوجا، والتي أُقيمت يومي 9-10 أغسطس الجاري.
وضمّت بعثة المنتخب كلًّا من الرئيس التنفيذي للجنة السعودية لليوجا أحمد الساعدي، وقصي الشريف (حكم دولي ورئيس اللجنة الفنية)، ومشاعل أكرم (حكم دولي) والمدربين: ريناد جمال خالد، وخالد الزهراني، واللاعبين هاني عشقي، عبدالله الزهراني، منيرة السليماني، سماهر المالكي، قصي حجازي، وبدر الغامدي.
The Saudi Yoga team achieved a historic accomplishment at the sixth Asian championship by winning 4 gold medals and 2 bronze medals during its participation in the sixth Asia Championship held in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates. The event was organized by the UAE Sports Federation under the patronage of the Crown Prince of Fujairah, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, and under the umbrella of the Asian Yoga Sports Federation, which took place on August 9-10.
The team delegation included the CEO of the Saudi Yoga Committee, Ahmed Al-Saadi, Qusay Al-Sharif (an international judge and head of the technical committee), Mashail Akram (an international judge), and the coaches: Renad Jamal Khalid, and Khalid Al-Zahrani, along with the athletes Hani Ashqi, Abdullah Al-Zahrani, Munira Al-Sulaimani, Samaher Al-Maliki, Qusay Hijazi, and Badr Al-Ghamdi.
