This achievement has garnered wide praise from officials of both the Asian and International Handball Federations for the outstanding performance and significant contributions made by the players throughout their journey in the first round.
Despite the fact that the average age of the players on the team is among the youngest compared to other participating teams, the "Green" has shown a strong character and high technical performance, making it the focus of attention from observers and experts, who praised the team's vitality and fighting spirit.
Star player Ahmed Nabil Al-Obaidi has emerged as one of the standout players of the tournament so far, having topped the scoring list of the first round with 33 goals out of 39 attempts, achieving a success rate of 85%. This confirms his exceptional scoring abilities and impactful presence within the team, alongside his teammate Abdullah Al-Saadoun, who also made it to the scoring list with 17 goals.
Additionally, Saudi goalkeeper Salman Al-Muaini was awarded the Best Player in the match against Brazil, and Ahmed Nabil received the same award in the match against Guinea. This is considered an achievement added to the champions' record by winning the best player award in two out of three matches.
