فاز منتخبنا الوطني السعودي تحت 19 عاماً على نظيره منتخب تشيلي بنتيجة 1-0، في المباراة التجريبية التي جمعت بينهما مساء اليوم الخميس، ضمن معسكر «الأخضر» المقام في مدينة فالنسيا الإسبانية، استعداداً لبطولة كوتيف الدولية 2025.
وشهد اللقاء سيطرة سعودية مبكرة وتم من خلالها تسجيل هدف «الأخضر» عن طريق اللاعب فارس بن سالم في الدقيقة 8 من مجريات الشوط الأول.
ودخل المدرب الإسباني أنطونيو سيرجيو اللقاء بقائمة مكونة من: عبدالله المحيسن في حراسة المرمى، أمجد حراج، عبدالرحمن سفياني، ياسر الظفيري، سالم العصيمي، محمد فلاتة، طلال حارثي، محمد القحطاني، نواف الدوسري، فارس بن سالم، عبدالعزيز الشمري.
وأجرى المدرب الإسباني عدة تغييرات أثناء اللقاء للوقوف على مدى استعداد اللاعبين لخوض البطولة حيث سيستهل «أخضر 19 عاماً» مشواره في بطولة كوتيف الدولية يوم الأحد 20 يوليو بمواجهة منتخب أوروغواي، ثم يلاقي منتخب موريتانيا يوم الثلاثاء 22 يوليو، ويختتم مبارياته في دور المجموعات أمام منتخب فنزويلا يوم الخميس 24 يوليو.

Our Saudi national team under 19 years old won against their Chilean counterpart with a score of 1-0 in the friendly match that took place this evening, Thursday, as part of the "Green" camp held in Valencia, Spain, in preparation for the 2025 Cotif International Championship.
The match witnessed early Saudi dominance, during which the "Green" scored their goal through player Fares bin Salem in the 8th minute of the first half.
The Spanish coach Antonio Sergio entered the match with a lineup consisting of: Abdullah Al-Muhaysin in goal, Amjad Haraj, Abdulrahman Sufiani, Yasser Al-Dhafiri, Salem Al-Asimi, Mohammed Flatih, Talal Harithi, Mohammed Al-Qahtani, Nawaf Al-Dosari, Fares bin Salem, Abdulaziz Al-Shammari.
