تشعّبت المجموعة الثامنة عقب تعادل ناديي الهلال وسالزبورغ النمساوي سلبياً دون أهداف خلال الجولة الثانية من دور المجموعات ضمن منافسات كأس العالم للأندية 2025 المقامة في أمريكا، وأصبحت أندية ريال مدريد وسالزبورغ والهلال تطمع في التأهل إلى دور الـ16.
الزعيم حالياً يحتاج إلى الفوز على باتشوكا المكسيكي في لقاء الجولة الأخيرة 27 يونيو للوصول إلى 5 نقاط، وبالتالي سينتظر نتيجة لقاء ريال مدريد ضد سالزبورغ في التوقيت نفسه.
فوز الهلال مع انتصار ريال مدريد يعني تأهل الفريقين سوياً إلى ثمن النهائي، حيث يحتل الملكي الصدارة برصيد 7 نقاط وخلفه الهلال برصيد 5 نقاط. السيناريو الثاني يتمثل في فوز الهلال مع تغلب رد بول سالزبورغ على ريال مدريد، وفي هذه الحالة سيحتاج الهلال للتفوق بفارق هدفين أو أكثر لضمان التأهل حيث يتفوق سالزبورغ على الهلال في رصيد الأهداف بفارق هدف.
وفي حال تعادل ريال مدريد وسالزبورغ وتساوت الفرق الثلاثة نقطياً، يحتكم الاتحاد الدولي طبقاً لقواعد البطولة إلى فارق الأهداف في المباريات بين هذه الفرق، يليه الأخذ بأكبر عدد من الأهداف المسجّلة خلال هذه المباريات.
وفي حال استمرار التساوي بعد هذين المعيارين، تحتكِم اللائحة إلى فارق الأهداف في جميع مباريات المجموعة، يليه أكبر عدد من الأهداف في هذه المباريات. ثم يلجأ «فيفا» إلى نقاط اللعِب النظيف، في حال استمرار التساوي.
ويخسر الفريق نقطة واحدة مع كل بطاقة صفراء، و3 نقاط مع كل بطاقة حمراء غير مباشرة، مقابل 4 بالبطاقة الحمراء المباشرة، و5 إذا حصل لاعبٌ على بطاقة صفراء ثم طُرِد بعدها بحمراء مباشرة وليس بصفراء ثانية.
وتشمل نقاط اللعب النظيف الطاقم الفني لكل فريق وليس اللاعبين وحدهم، فإذا طُرِد مدرب أو إداري يُعامَل معاملة اللاعب، وإذا فشلت حسابات اللعِب النظيف في ترتيب الفرق يُجري «فيفا» قرعةً تحدد المتأهلين إلى دور الـ16 والمراكز.
The eighth group became complicated after the Saudi club Al-Hilal and the Austrian club Salzburg drew 0-0 during the second round of the group stage in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup held in America. The clubs Real Madrid, Salzburg, and Al-Hilal are now vying for qualification to the Round of 16.
Currently, the leader needs to win against the Mexican club Pachuca in the final round on June 27 to reach 5 points, and thus will await the result of the match between Real Madrid and Salzburg at the same time.
A victory for Al-Hilal along with a win for Real Madrid means both teams will qualify together for the Round of 16, as the royal club leads with 7 points, followed by Al-Hilal with 5 points. The second scenario involves a win for Al-Hilal with Red Bull Salzburg defeating Real Madrid; in this case, Al-Hilal will need to win by a margin of two goals or more to ensure qualification, as Salzburg has a goal difference advantage over Al-Hilal by one goal.
If Real Madrid and Salzburg draw and all three teams end up with the same points, FIFA will refer to the goal difference in matches between these teams, followed by the total number of goals scored during these matches.
If the tie persists after these two criteria, the regulations will refer to the goal difference in all group matches, followed by the highest number of goals in these matches. Then, FIFA will resort to fair play points if the tie continues.
A team loses one point for each yellow card, 3 points for each indirect red card, 4 points for a direct red card, and 5 points if a player receives a yellow card and is then sent off with a direct red card instead of a second yellow.
Fair play points also include the coaching staff of each team, not just the players. If a coach or administrator is sent off, they are treated like a player. If fair play calculations fail to rank the teams, FIFA will conduct a draw to determine the qualifiers for the Round of 16 and their positions.
