يواجه نادي ليستر سيتي اتّهامات بخرق قواعد الربح والاستدامة خلال مشاركته في دوري الدرجة الأولى الإنجليزي لموسم 2023/2024.
وقد أحال البريمييرليغ القضية إلى لجنة مستقلة بعد تحديد اختصاصه القضائي، ما قد يؤدي إلى خصم نقاط من رصيد النادي. وأكّد ليستر تعاونه الكامل مع التحقيق.
الاتهامات تأتي بعد فوز النادي في وقت سابق باستئناف ضد محاولات البريمييرليغ مقاضاته بشأن مخالفات سابقة حين كان في دوري الدرجة الأولى.
عموماً، لن تؤثر الإجراءات، الّتي من المحتمل اتّخاذها ضد ليستر، إذ هبط رسمياً مجدّداً الى الدرجة الأولى.
