أعلنت وزارة الرياضة إطلاق مشروع «استثمار المنشآت الرياضية»، والذي يشمل ثلاث مدن رياضية رئيسية، هي: مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية بجدة، ومدينة الأمير عبدالله الفيصل الرياضية بجدة، ومدينة الملك عبدالعزيز الرياضية بمكة المكرمة.
ويتيح المشروع العديد من الفرص الاستثمارية للقطاع الخاص بعقود تمتد لخمس سنوات قابلة للتمديد، ومن هذه الفرص: امتلاك حقوق التسمية، وتأجير الملاعب للأندية الرياضية وللجهات الأخرى في غير أيام المباريات، بالإضافة إلى تشغيل وإدارة المنشآت الرياضية وصيانتها، وغيرها من أوجه الاستثمار داخل هذه المنشآت وذلك وفق نماذج تشغيلية حديثة تُسهم في رفع كفاءة المنشآت، وتحسين جودة الخدمات المقدمة، وتوسيع آفاق الاستثمار التجاري، والارتقاء بتجربة الجماهير داخل المنشآت الرياضية.
ودعت الوزارة الشركات المتخصصة والراغبة في الاستثمار إلى التقديم عبر بوابة «فرص» وذلك خلال الفترة المحددة، والاستفادة من هذه الفرصة النوعية في أحد أبرز القطاعات الحيوية بالمملكة.

The Ministry of Sports announced the launch of the "Investment in Sports Facilities" project, which includes three main sports cities: King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City in Jeddah, and King Abdulaziz Sports City in Mecca.
The project offers numerous investment opportunities for the private sector through contracts that extend for five years, renewable. Among these opportunities are: owning naming rights, renting stadiums to sports clubs and other entities on non-match days, in addition to operating, managing, and maintaining sports facilities, among other investment aspects within these facilities, all according to modern operational models that contribute to enhancing the efficiency of the facilities, improving the quality of services provided, expanding commercial investment horizons, and elevating the experience of fans within sports facilities.
The ministry called on specialized companies interested in investing to apply through the "Opportunities" portal during the specified period and to take advantage of this unique opportunity in one of the most prominent vital sectors in the Kingdom.
